don't think there is such service to replace wii motherboard in malaysia. wii is proprietary to nintendo, so is not like repairing a PC.
did u happen to do a wii system update either through internet (through wii setup), or through a game disk? (when u insert the game disk, it will prompt you). most crashes are due to these reasons, and if it is due to these, there is nothing much u can do but buy a new wii.

Get understand from my friend that my Wii is not MB spoil but is brick. There is some way to unbrick it by doing the recovery. Will find out more soon.

if u softmodded it, part of a well known sop of softmodding is to save the NAND. so that u can recover back to original virgin wii during times like this. but if the wii is bought already pre softmodded, well..... u need the NAND or another wii.

See, this is why we don't encourage modding. Even if used for legit purposes you may end up bricking the Wii. Hmmm... http://www.ps3news.com/Nintendo-Wii/guide-...do-wii-console/Anyone has a old GC control and willing to try? Edit: Just read that you need a newer FW than what you have installed. If you have installed 4.2 already when you bricked the Wii, you're stuck until next FW release comes out. This post has been edited by RAMChYLD: Feb 11 2010, 02:57 PM

You'll need a 3.2 firmware or lower to go along with it to be precise.
That recovery menu won't do a thing on higher firmwares.
