Easily if you prefer it to be valve timing, Proton could just apply their CPS or IAFM namings with their own intake and exhaust valve timing easily. Want a MIVEC then get the real Lancer.

Because it is basically the same car inside out as the lancer sold here. Even if Proton actually test it on our road, you won't be able to notice them.
