u have a proton wira, is it different feel if u custom your proton, change the engine, put a custom bumper and so on? my answer would be yes it makes a lot different actually.

u need to have your own Dev Cert. do u have it? And then signed the RP using signer. Old skool method

bro chill out. Rom Patcher is different things. that 1 is to enable the installation even u the files signed or unsigned. ROM Patcher usually in HelloOX package. U can try use HelloOX. try google it.

about the certificate u have just now, that one is used to sign the unsigned apps. so basically, this is old method, u need to have cert, and signer too. do a google for freesigner.

Haha, v40 cannot support Hello OX2... And some apps even after sign still cannot install one...like cr*cked stuffs... and i dont trust the ROM Patchers uploaded by other forummers in other forums, i want the official one... Reply faster bro, need to go out soon

your comparison doesnt make sense. You know hacking is like the car comes with electronic board like mercedes by altering the software the car have a boost. Nothing to do with custom bumper and engine ( aka motherboard for nokia 5800XM case)

All the ROM Patchers in portal comes with Hello OX2. I reflashed firmware already, successful But I dont dare try other CFW as i only trust Phoenix...very efficient

I have Win7 too, i managed to get it installed right with no problem at all, under compatibility settings, tick Use in compatibility in Win XP Ser Pack 3

to install the Orange Tornado Home Screen for v40 in 2nd page, just copy those files into C:\resource, C:\Sys & C:\fonts will do?
how to change back to original after installed? delete the above files?

still, i cannot install even i set the compatibility.
