issit something like u need to flash the FP original v40 then the v40 + hacked again

the Original v40 FW is in exe files? And after install, its 'decompressed' into a few KB files....

i do a quick tutorial here. the recipe based from this link http://forum.dailymobile.se/index.php/topic,17740.0.html which is no 5 recipe.

Procedure:

1. Extract original firmware v40.0.005 to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-356

2. Extract a new recipe to the same the path of original firmware., refer the link given up there. Just overwrite with the original.

3. Open JAF

4. Tick ONLY Manual Flash and Dead USB. UNTICK CRT308.

5. Tick Use INI. about 2 sec, a popup will out. then select type RM-356 (Name would be 5800D-1). Please change the PRODUCT CODE, like me is "APAC1 RED MALAYSIA^0570196^40.0.005^001", if your blue then take blue.

6. Plug USB to ur Nokia 5800, then select PC Suite.

7. Click Flash, then got popup dialog box. SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE NOW.

8. Click Yes, Follow press the turn on button for your hp. (u will see the log saying searching the phone, then u press power button, just press ONCE dont press LONG)

9. TADA. Settle (Read at the log JAF, it say Done then Done la)

p/s: xploit, do correct my grammar. because i type this 1 sambil buat. LoL

Edit: If the screen appear "Local Mode" and take too long to dissapear, just remove the battery. and then press the power button again. Happy modding. owh yeah, i bricked my phone 5th time oledi. dont afraid, it can revive via JAF or Phoenix. Gud Luck

i heard that 5800 can connect itself (some sort of wireless connection) to the car stereo or radio and then directly play the music from the phone on the radio of the car.

is that true?

using Bluetooth FM Modulator tried already. no problem. but using other connection i dont know.

i got my phone and the firmware version is V31.0.101. if i update to the latest V40 firmware, will i lost any data of my phone? like those pics/musics/software/sms/contacts
