i cannot open rompatcher after install XFW v1.0

Maybe u used a non-unicode nokia 5800 font? only the application got box box, in menu and others can see chinese characters?

XM, i cant even uninstall and reinstall the THEMES cause i cant get even to the THEMES menu... If i click THEMES the whole phone freezes.....

is not the theme that freezes is the THEMES menu that freezes.....

now i am stuck cause i cant change anything now no THEMES, call image ....etc

XM, to flash to the xploit 1.0, i only have to install the JAF service suite only right? do i have to install Phoenix also so that i can move the files to here  C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-356?

Do i need to install both JAF and Phoenix to flash to Xploit 1.0?

then where do i find this folder 
"C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-356" when i dint install Phoenix?

Cooked my own v40 rom with:
1. Cache moved from C: to E:
2. Camera quality and sound hack
3. Removed bootup apps
4. Delete MyNokia.exe and Welcome2.exe
5. Enabled filecaching
6. Integrate Rompatcher+
7. Smoother kinetic tweaks
8. Faster music library search/update
9. Bluetooth received location moved from C: to E:

Everything else stock, based on V40 APAC firmware. Currently try to reduce firmware size (already at limit 32MB) by removing help files and integrate Ovi Maps v3.03.

Cooking and flashing is fun ^^

XM, some clarification needed... 

is it the .UDA file is the C:\ fat16 file??

so far the overall firmware have a few files as below:

1. RM-356_40.0.005_prd.core.C00 => biggest file and still not editable by the nokia editor (this one sure is the Z:\ ROM drive content)

2. RM-356_40.0.005_prd.rofs2.V22 => 2nd biggest file and editable by the nokia editor (is this the customisable Z:\ drive content??)

3. RM-356_40.0.005_C02_prd.rofs3.fpsx => 3rd big file and editable by the nokia editor (so far found the content will be store into C:\ and most of it is the product related theme)

4. RM356_40.0.005_023_xxx_U01.uda.fpsx => very small file and editable by the nokia editor (beta 0.4 and not beta 0.6, the extracted .img file need further tool like winimage to put in all those mods files because it's fat16 file system) clarification needed to confirmed this will be the C:\ after flashing the phone?? 

5. RM356_0570197_40.0.005_001.dcp => can be extracted using winzip (all are the .xml setting files)

6. RM356_0570197_40.0.005_001.vpl => XML setting files (inside have CRC check setting)

7. RM356_0570197_40.0.005_001_signature.bin => XML file (contain the product signature code)

update without hard reset wont cost u anything...
but a hard reset will wipe clean the C:\ drive but not the E:\ drive... 

u manyak rajin bro... i'm not even manual flashing
studying the overall cfw structure and mostly will be modding your final XFW according to my own preferences later hahahaha... so bro buat betul betul your final XFW oh... 

do evaluate more on the core functions on your minimise xfw... takut nanti remove sini sana "might" cause some intermittent error on the core application like the sms/phone call/network/logs which is the essential as a "handphone"

Now I interested to hack my phone to XFW v1.0.  My problem now JAF program can not find phone model when I click use INI. I follow exactly your guide and even youtube guide. Nothing happened. What's wrong?

Chinese XFW should be no problem right? i think most Malaysia tube have default chinese language support like mine?

for those language support, it might be wise if u just pack those mods into a .zip file (included the sub-folder detail) and ask those who use foreign language to repack their own firmware cannot meh??

how about u try download "their original firmware" and top up your mods to it and send for them to test?? (because your phone product code is for our phone mah)
