FP got but not detailed solution, .. Poenix or JAF is the best around suite to revive bricked phone using original firmware, however the bringing back to alive wont be successful in 1st or 2nd attempt.

I may take a few flashing attempt to bring it alive .. but bricking a phone is not easy too .. its just abot the user fault ..

1. After u click refurbish any error / messages appeared? or it starts flashing automatically?

plug in back do the same method of flashing, when u wanna click refurbish in Phoenix, see up there got 1 USB Dead Flash button, tick it the click Refurbish

Moving Permanently Internet Browser Cache to Memory Card

This modification will make Nokia 5800XM browser to cache in E:\Sys\Cache

- The C:\System\Cache remains empty and this saves space too.
- Download and put the attached 101F8557.txt in C:\Private\10202be9
- Change the file attribute of 101F8557.txt to "READ ONLY"
- Delete 101F8557.cre in C:\Private\10202be9\persist if exist.
- Restart your phone.

Open the internal Nokia browser and surf some web sites, observe now it caches to E:\Sys\Cache. It also create new file called 101f8557.cre in persist folder, leave it there.

Now C:\System\Cache will be empty forever and saves C drive space (You may delete the Cache folder permanently).

2. Install the offline Nokia OVI Maps 3.03 from FP
3. Download Nokia Map Loader and install desired map ..

- copy some part folder / files easily
- installing 3rd part signed apps (eg. OPDA)
