sciencefreak,

1) Are you using real Coaxial cables for the audio coax, or simply use a RCA cable?

I experience high interference using RCA for Coaxial port...now I'm using Coaxial shielded cable, no probs. But it depends on setup, my cabinet got full of wires where the cable route through.

2) Does the b.yond have volume controls?...try setting it as medium and control the volume using the HT set instead.
I experience very bad stereo sound using the coax and Philips HT, later I found it my media player I had set it to full. Now i set it medium..so far it improve.

sciencefreak,

Try lower the b.yond decoder volume (not sure if it has one) and control the volume from the HT.
