QUOTE(hewtwok @ Sep 9 2010, 02:04 PM) looking at the spec require...video output in full hd 1080p requires a HDMI cable and 1080p native display with HDMI input supporting HDCP??? now this HDCP thingy does all fullHD LCD TV has? or it does not matter? HDCP is mandatory to be able to output video to a display. It does not mean that displays that are HDCP compliant are 1080P capable. This post has been edited by ffrulz: Sep 9 2010, 06:24 PM

QUOTE(hewtwok @ Sep 9 2010, 09:10 PM) so how do i know the LCD TV is HDCP compliant since most LCD TV does not even mention HDCP at all...can advice? They do. Most, if not all of the latest LCD/Plasma Displays are HDCP compliant. You'll only need to worry if your display is an old model like around 2 years back.

QUOTE(nakata101 @ Sep 10 2010, 09:14 AM) NO need mention if the LCD TV got HDMI support...... IIRC older HDTVs with HDMI did not come with HDCP. So this isn't entirely true. After all, HDCP is optional for manufacturers to adopt and it requires a fee for licensing. But yeah, the newer ones would be HDCP compliant unless for some reason they didn't bother to implement it.

QUOTE(jedi_dc @ Sep 19 2010, 11:02 AM) i'm very curious, does the speedometer work like real on every car? On the Premium cars it should be since their interiors are modeled exactly like the real car. For the non-premium ones I'm not really sure.

QUOTE(r2t2 @ Nov 1 2010, 10:40 AM) Thanks for reminding me of the front page list ... somehow, wasn't thinking straight at that time coz frust a bit ... how can Malaysia be excluded from the international shipping list? Ordering from NZ or Aust, more expensive. Other European websites, haven't try yet. Anyway, alb1on is listed as getting Europe CE only ... IINM, there is one who mentioned he'll be getting the R2 SE. QUOTE GRAN TURISMO 5 SIGNATURE EDITION R2 : ETA DECEMBER : RMXXX 1) ffrulz 2) terryfu 3) daigo2008v6 4) stringfellow 5) dwayne817 6) Mozaid Tajuddin 7) zuljag 8) Sypher From PBBSeller's page. No idea about the other sellers as to whether do they have customers who PO-ed the SE or not.

QUOTE(THEALB10N @ Nov 5 2010, 12:45 PM) So the Sing. Collectors edition comes with the toy car, bt no chrome line cars? SGD 122 is about the same price as the UK CE. For what I can see, the Asian CE has: A toy car 1 extra in-game car Compared to the UK CE: 5 extra in-game cars + a stealth car. I'm stuck between cancelling my Uk pre-order and ordering the Asian version instead or sticking with my UK pre-order. I have a feeling I'll end up buying both I believe the DLC cars will be released as paid ones later in PSN anyway.
