Yesterday i use Hotlink Online Topup because of the promotion can get KFC voucher if topup online from hotlink website.
Guess what, the transaction successful, deducted money from my maybank account and yet i receive nothing.

Called Hotlink and being told there is service problem and will credit the topup to me in 24hours time. (no solution)
Called 2nd time and they told me to call the bank regarding to the payment i made but have yet receive anything. (no solution)
Called bank and they get information from me about the transaction details and will call me back within today after done checking.
Called Hotlink 3rd time, the same thing i was asked to do (call bank) then only start to get information from me about the transaction. But only will take 3 to 7 working days to 'so-called' solve the problem. (still no solution)

The more angry part is i called Hotlink cs is still using the remaining balance of my prepaid account as they never provide toll free customer service. I topup because low of credit and now not only did not get the topup, and have to use the remaining credit to file up this 'service failure' thingy and with no solution or compensation.

At a moment i thought online topup suppose is more convenient? And yet now it is more troublesome than using topup card.

Anyone face this problem before? Any better solution other than only calling the customer service centre?

Yea. M2U.

This kind of stuff never happen to me if i use M2U direct topup. Shouldn't be greedy for the KFC voucher and go ahead topup without using the hotlink online topup thingy. cry.gif

Yes transaction successfully proceeded. The amount already deducted from my bank account. I have been doing online payment and transaction a lot so im very sure it is a successful transaction from M2U.

Already given all the details from the last call i made. Kind of upset with this kind of service where convenient become troublesome.
Should at least refund back my credit for calling them because of their own service problem.

I had this problem a couple of times with RHB bank. Just call the customer service (or message them thru the bulilt-in message thingamajig in your internet banking) providing the reference number. They will refund back to your if it is still not credited into your prepaid. Or they will try to credit to your prepaid.

OR screw hotlink biggrin.gif

I have that kind of thought too and ended up with this problem. Sometimes better don't greedy with the little promotion. cry.gif

Called Hotlink but no solution given.
Called Maybank, solution is will refund back to me in 1 or 2 weeks time.

Topup another amount directly using M2U. Fast and easy with no trouble. thumbup.gif

Nope there is 2 kind o payment from Maybank which is M2E and M2U.
You can choose either one. Not only available from M2E but it can be M2U also.

Login for M2E and M2U is different since both are not the same account. blink.gif

As i understand M2E is for enterprise cash management. Correct me if I'm wrong. sweat.gif
