how to reduce the intensity of the sunlight? lower ISO + flash?

e-420 with 200mm f4 zuiko

Is this pic too bright? I was going for a fantasy/dreamy look

First time taking lightning photos, C&C please.
Despite the water drops on the picture(although i kinda like the effect) Is there any more impprovement?

Erm.. lower shutter speed and low iso? i am just a newbie

strobist. speedlight on picture left. if u look properly u can see a bit of light spill into the dining table chair at the background (top left).

ofcourse no! i was under a shelter but the wind blew the water drops to my lens

set the speed to 30s and F13
then focus at one place, and place the shutter.
if u're lucky, u can get it

I'm back With my camera serviced.. But then after a few weeks, another black spot popped out. Not going to service it another time until it got worst. now, gonna edit it 1st

I already used tripod for it.. If I used my hand to take that picture for 10 seconds exposure.. the picture would be ultra blur...
Probably cheap tripod im using?
