I hear that uitm maybe has this marketability problem i future.. low salary and such..

So i strongly recommended all diploma graduate from uitm choose other university for pursuing to Bachelor degree courses such UPM, UTeM, USM and etc.

This to ensure you uitm certificate is useful so with second certificate which is Bachelor degree form other uni. Those who has Bachelor Degree just take master form other Ivy League unis such UM, UKM, USM, UTM, UPM or etc. Studying Master abroad to overseas university was a good idea too..

This make your degree certf even more useful for getting employed. Beside UiTM tuition fees will not bring you into a huge debt.. So this is just my suggestion for increase any Uitm'ers potential in carrier field ..

But, It up to all uitm graduate yourself to choose what best to u you..

i'll answer back your statement according to my numbering above. these only my own opinion and it's up to u all guys to accept it or not.

(1) i agree with this.even my lecturer told the same thing. he asked from 1 of company manager how much basic salary for graduate engineer and the company asked him back which universities they graduated and he said if other than uitm is RM2100 while if from uitm is RM1800. sound like a bias there but what can we do when most of these company is owned by non bumi..

(2) many of peoples didn't know that uitm degree courses already revised to follow the latest outcome based education comparing to the other popular universtities that you has stated above. i give you some example,in my course which is mechanical engineering degree. if you refer to course outline at UTM for the same course they still list some classical engineering courses which seems like irrelevant for our industrial needs. UNIMAP also try to implement the same thing like what uitm do but unfortunately their mechanical engineering course still not recognize by BEM until now, while uitm already achieved BEM and IMeche recognization.

(3) i also plan to do that.but not because i realized that my degree is not valuable but because i want to gain more knowledge in engineering. good news is now uitm offering any excellent students graduate with 1st class degree to further study to ivy league universities and i hope i can apply it then go to MIT  icon_rolleyes.gif

(4) yeah the most cheapest tution fees in malaysia but i think soon it will hike..

1)Thanks for your understanding what kind of probs this uni has.. im shocked that they all even refusing it. Just imagine uitm resumes in future.. i believe most uitm count this like itlwe nothing always..

2) unimap is established in just 20's but uitm has to be more right.. so they got credit earlier.

3) MIT is such pain in the ass if your ask me.. you has to create new technology until you could graduate.. even more for masters or PhD. Just try malaysia, we all love malaysia and wish to develop malaysia. I could say most of my friend going abroad has some issues towards country before/after been graduate. But UiTM's use to be strong.. is it? malaysia boleh.

4) unless the government say so.. but who knows..
