icon_question.gif Need help regarding Fast-track in Uitm Shah Alam guys icon_question.gif

Okay,
1st of all,
I'm a part 3 students and will be in part 4 next sem,
and I'm currently placed in Penang campus for civil engineering.

I've got this dilemma,
whether to go for fast-track or not.
the thing bothering me most is the cost.
as my financial is very very low in supply (only depending on ptptn fyi)
and my family can't help me much with my financial as they themselves pun cukup-cukup makan jek.

so should I or should I not go for this 'fast-track'?

Hopefully any seniors from Shah Alam campus can guide me icon_question.gif

And besides all that, some questions running through my head all the time rclxub.gif

1) Kolej accommodation provided for part 1 degree only ain't it?
2) How much will the house rentals near the campus be? (house/apartments)
3) What about transportation shocking.gif ?
4) Campus best tak? whistling.gif

*btw the registration for fast-track will be closing in 13 november 2011 which is this sunday.

hi penang student.. i oso from penang (mechanical) during my diploma time..  biggrin.gif

1) yes, only for 1st sem only but you can apply for next sem
2) cheapest 1 is RM400-450 for apartment.terrace house is RM1k above. if fully furnish apartment usually is more than RM800
3)depend on where u stay.if stay around seksyen 7 (near the i-city) got lot of buses
4) best..  thumbup.gif  engineering course got their own complex which is kompleks kejuruteraan with twin tower and oso awek from mass com faculty next to the engineering complex..  brows.gif
*
Hmmm hmm.gif

When I think about the kolej thingy,
What if I apply for JPK (or even orientation assistant) and I got the position.
Will I be guaranteed a place in kolej ?
Then I'll be saving both house rentals and transportation fee icon_idea.gif
*btw the college IS in OKAY condition or is it not ? shocking.gif
*in comparison with penang's kolej(s) ? which is nearest to its 'species' LOL!

Back to my question, is that possible my friend ? brows.gif

Out of topic thingy : wao leng luis! Ini best Ini! rclxm9.gif

if promoted as JPK or MPP, yes, confirm can stay in kolej until grad..  sweat.gif

kolej aa.. not bad la.got kolej with 2 person per room or more than 4 person per house like kolej jati. but seriously cant compare to kolej zamrud or kristal (i dunno bout kristal but my fren said kristal is damn gooding)

i think here da distance from faculty to kolej is almost same like in penang la..

better u think back whether to accept da penerapan or not. if u go to penerapan u can save 1 year but with no diploma.
*
ehh.
More questions hehe :
1) The kolej is like Mutiara, which is out-of-the-campus style kolej or in-campus style kolej (which is like Zamrud) ?
2) Err cannot compared coz the kolej is better a lot than penang ones or just about the same lol brows.gif
3) Since you are still studying there, is the temptation to not to study is that big in shah alam campus?
With all the entertainments and friends and not to mention leng luis shocking.gif

P/s : Sorry for asking a bunch of questions. I'm just curious - can't help it rclxub.gif

notworthy.gif thank you in advance notworthy.gif

2.yeah,kolej in penang is better than in shah alam (old skool, all facilities old 1)
3. err.. entertainments? shah alam has nothing yo.. even wayang oso dun have..  sweat.gif but aweks..  brows.gif

Eh btw,

The dismiss-in-fast-track part :

Confused about this,
Is it when one failed this particular subject 3 times, then that person will not get any certificates right?
It's not like, failed 1 time and not getting any certificates.

Am I right ? hmm.gif

hi to all.
may i know whats the minimum requirement to enter degree in uitm.
as diploma also in uitm.
*
If I were you,
I wouldn't care of the min req.
Just try your luck - buying the upu pin and register online.
It doesn't matter much actually.
UNLESS your result is THAT bad

hello guys,I've already apply for both Diploma in Chemical Engineering and Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronic) in uitm via UPU. From your experience, with my result, how's my chance in entering uitm ? cause the 1st 6 choice of mine is foundation, and i know they will choose students that have amazing results first. (btw, I'm really hoping that I get uitm).

BM  A
BI  A+
Maths  A
PI    A-
Sej  B
Phy B+
Che B+
Add maths B
Bio  B

So seniors ? p/s : i've got matrics already, but i'm still waiting the UPU results. Thanks in advance !

Added on May 8, 2012, 10:28 pmBy the way, I'm not from boarding school and I really have no idea what to prepare to live in a campus. Actually, how is it like to live in a campus anyway, was it very strict and too bounded by the rules set up by UiTM? Is there anyone here would like to share some experiences and/or advices for an upcoming uni student here?
*

Well, 1st of all,
Which campus will you be entering?
different campus will have different thingy you know tongue.gif

p/s : mds ? well ppl with boarding school experience will have nth with this. which school are you from again?
