Greetings, students of UiTM smile.gif

Sorry if it's inappropriate for me to ask here. I would like to seek advises from seniors from UiTM who've pursued/who're currently pursuing in Diploma of Mass Communication.

I don't want to flood the thread here about discussing regarding my request for help, so I've opened a thread to discuss about it here - http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2305704

Hope there will be some of the members in this thread will keen enough to help me. Thanks much smile.gif

Hello. I was offered to study there too - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Made my mind to study there, dont want to gamble my future if I go for matric.
I found this site while applying for UPU last time, bookmarked for future reference - here
See you there on 3rd June.

One more thing. Dear Seniors, I've read so many complaints regarding this Uni - many rempits, racists (100% quota for Bumi), dropout UTM can get Dean award easily here, UiTM graduate hardly employed by chinese company.
This uni aint that bad and it's just some students from other Uni being sceptical/look down on us, am I right?

Thanks for the link! Damn it's useful biggrin.gif
Shall we keep in touch outside LYN, if you don't mind?

Sounds like it's a bad thing to go through soon hmm.gif

Added on May 8, 2012, 10:28 pmBy the way, I'm not from boarding school and I really have no idea what to prepare to live in a campus. Actually, how is it like to live in a campus anyway, was it very strict and too bounded by the rules set up by UiTM? Is there anyone here would like to share some experiences and/or advices for an upcoming uni student here?

Can anyone elaborate more about the facilities and colleges in Alor Gajah campus?
And by the way, do we still need to wash our clothes using the traditional methods, while staying in the campus?

Yeay for washing machine! rclxms.gif
Do you have any idea of how much of the machines are there in each college, and how much does it cost for one-time usage?

usually there are around 2-3 unit each block but maybe less if rosak/vandalisme/supplier kedekut.

i think around rm2-rm3 per usage depends on supplier of the washing machine.

Erk. Expected more than that xD

By the way, for newbies, what will the room for us look like? Is it a room of 2/3/4 persons something like that, or live in a long dormitory instead - like those in boarding schools?

Can anyone help to clear off my doubts and concern about homo students in UiTM campuses?
Is it true, that kind of people does exist, until now in the campuses, especially among Mass Comm students?

Hi everyone.

Would like to seek for advises here. Is it advisable to bring or to not bring laptop during MDS?
And what are the safety measurements to take on that anyone can suggest to me?
In a dilemma whether want to bring it or not. Haih.
