KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--KNM Group Bhd. (7164.KU) said Thursday that it has received a buyout offer of 90 sen a share from a company controlled by its managing director and founding shareholder, Lee Swee Eng.

The offer is at a 20% premium to KNM shares' closing price of 75 sen.

The maker of process equipment for the oil and gas industry said in a stock exchange filing that BlueFire Capital Group Ltd., an entity controlled by Lee, plans to acquire KNM's entire business and undertakings.

KNM said the proposal is subject to "satisfactory completion of due diligence, receipt of firm financing commitments, and negotiation and execution of definitive documentation."

BlueFire has been granted a limited exclusivity period up to March 22 to complete its due diligence and satisfy the other conditions, the company said.

BlueFire is acting in collaboration with GS Capital Partners VI Fund L.P and Mettiz Capital Ltd. and the international adviser on the deal is Goldman Sachs (Singapore) Pte., KNM said

    Feb. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Australian employers added workers for a fifth straight month in January.
    The number of people employed rose 52,700 from December, the statistics bureau said in Sydney today. The median estimate of 21 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News was for a gain of 15,000. The jobless rate was 5.3 percent.

do u means that A Q to sell at 8.4 when the price is 11.10? then B saw the 8.4 sell Q.. then buy up the 8.4 share?
but if A key in sell Q at 8.4 while the best buy is 11.08.. will it get tru?

Personally i am not surprised on the power of the relief rally. I remember that i told the forum that should buy quality names few days back during the market correction.

And i did mention buying osk when it was below 1.20. For those who bought below 1.20 and sold it at 1.27, a job well done. Sometimes you can only trust the chartist so much...even i can get it wrong sometimes on the timing.
