Hey, does anyone know where to get a paint that can touchup the metalic finish parts of Studio XPS 16?

Has anyone got any issues flashing to BIOS A14 for 1640? I'm quite afraid to flash my BIOS nowadays due to the previous experience I had, though now I know there is a workaround to resuscitate the laptop...

Does anyone here have problems with pops and clicks during audio playback? especially when the system is hot/have been on for a long time/after a graphic intensive game? Any ways to solve it?
I've searched through the web and found that this is due to some DPC issue, and my DPC was found to be high using a DPC checker (http://www.thesycon.de/dpclat/dpclat.exe) Just wondering if anyone else has got the same issue. |

sorry, I should've said 'crackles'... which occurs ocassionally throughout the song (audio track is normal, and the crackles are absent after reboot)
DPC as in DPC latency. This post has been edited by kheechun: May 1 2010, 02:44 PM |
