My XPS1640 network card is Intel® WiFi Link 5100 (802.11a/g/n) Half Mini-card

so i should get wireless G or wireless N?
Can someone explain to me the difference and which would be better?

hey peeps, i have a studio xps1640, but i feel like changing it to 1340, is it possible if i ask for DELL for an exchange? because 1640 is too big for me >< anyone tried to exchange with dell b4?
