QUOTE(JCogent @ Jun 12 2010, 09:30 AM) Not the battery, but power adapter. The SXPS 16 is shipped with a 90watt adapter which is under powered, can sometimes cause the laptop to freeze. Usually if this happens, they will replace it with a 130watt adapter. Just ordered my XPS16. What do mean by 'freeze'?

I'm getting my XPS 16 in a couple of weeks' time. Can someone direct me on how to remove all the unnecessary Dell softwares? Is there a thread somewhere in Lowyat Net that discusses this? I need some guidance so that I don't screw up the re-formatting big time. Thanks.

Hi Guys, just got my unit (XPS 16) yesterday. Very happy with it. However, after tweaking for about 2 hours, I noticed that the AC Power Adapter was REALLY hot. Is this normal? How do you guys keep it cool? I'm planning to use a desk fan to blow at it while I'm using my new lappie.
