For me, I like white series.
1. Laptop = white
2. Mouse = white
3. Speaker = white
4. Earphone = white
5. Mobile Phone = white

Hey guys, did you notice that the Dell Studio XPS 16 with the CPU Core i7 is not available for online customization? It indirectly indicates that the new GPU refresh is going to come very soon? hmm.gif

after recommendations from my friends and days of persuading my parents my mom say can let me put in an order before the 25th to also take advantage of the online offers. but read here said should talk to the sa about extras. so should it be done before or after placing orders should ask for what? thanks.
*
It's better to deal with one of the SA before putting your order as you may get better offers. smile.gif

If I didnt customize my specs? Will I get freebies or discount? Cause I dont think Ill be customizing my specs...
*
Last time, I heard from one of the Low Yatt "forumer" that usually the SA will not offer you any discount if you do not customize your default specs. of your laptop. As for freebies, I think it will not be a major problem if you ask for it from your SA. biggrin.gif

Ahh... Icic.. thanks for the info... Will definitely order through a SA... But is it depending on who your SA is that will provide with discuount/freebies right? Is there any recommended SA? Or like the other forumer stated that just email to that SA and hope that she will reply and give some good bargain?
*
Yup, you are right! As for the recommended SA, you can try to ask Finding Screemo

has anyone tried to apply thermal compound unto their cpu and gpu and remove the old layer? i'm itching to do it...
*
By doing that may void your current warranty. Maybe you can ask Dell technician to do it for you. biggrin.gif

5730 listed as driver on dell 1645 driver site

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/...D=STUDIOXPS1645

Pretty much comfirmed that the refresh for XPS16 is coming soon, but I heard 5730 is just a little better than 4670 coz it also uses GDDR3 instead of GDDR5. hmm.gif
*
ATi 5730 is an overclocked version of ATi 5650. IMHO, it is quite good. biggrin.gif Anyway, I'm really tired of this waiting game already. Don' t know when it will be released to the market? Currently, I have my eyes on Asus N61JQ.

Phew, luckily I did not wait for the refreshment. If not, it would be a huge let down for me.

what is the current price for that ? already in malaysia?
*
It is not available in Malaysia yet but I ordered it from GenTechPC (Ken Lee). He is certainly a great person to deal of. Anyway, you can PM corallinkz too as he offers the cheapest Asus G73Jh I have ever seen, that is, RM5100. Nevertheless, the price will fluctuate according to the volatile currency exchange. icon_rolleyes.gif
