Well, to put it simple, if you just want to use it for internet, G is enough...
If you are using it for transfering file through the wireless, N would be preferable nod.gif

SSD is using the same sata interface, so no problem upgrading later on.

You might want to consider the i7 version, since its quad core, the same with your desktop.
or the i5 model to reduce some cost.
Though do note that desktop would always performs better than notebook with less money...

If you want to game or 1080p screen, SXPS 16
If you want to do 3dmax, AutoCAD or encoding movies or something that can fully utilized the quad core, Studio 15 is your choice.

For the Studio 15, you can consider Vostro 3700, 17.3'', i7 720QM + Nvidia GT 330M@RM4199, its in pre-order now.
It has better GPU and same CPU than Studio 15 smile.gif

SXPS 16 still better, unless you really need the quad core...
1080p screen, SXPS 16 wins
