Hey guys, I'm just wondering do you guys ever had some freezing problem especially when gaming?
For me, I'd been occasionally getting the freezing and it get pretty annoying lately.

FYI the game I'm playing is Maple Story, a 2D online game but it still freeze.
Gosh what's wrong with the computer?

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Bios A11
Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 @ 2.8Ghz

Added on May 2, 2010, 3:04 pmSome new problem, I updated the IDT and the problem seems to be gone but my audio currently out of tunes, distorted, high pitch or whatsoever you guys name it, it's killing my ears now.

I tried installing the Creative which I gotten from Dell's support website but once I unzipped it whole computer totally froze.

Have been trying real hard to find Catalyst Mobility Driver 10.4 mirror download link other than the one on AMD's site. Couldn't complete my download through that one, it goes reaaaal slow and eventually stops downloading altogether

Added on May 3, 2010, 1:42 amI just had a reallly bad scare.

Tried to update my bios to A06, left it to run and when i came back, the screen was blank and everything was non-responsive. Cannot even shut down by pressing the power button for 8-10 secs. All i can see is the touch sensitive strip still lighted and the fan running. Finally decided to take a huge risk and pulled out the AC adapter, AND removed the battery without powering down my baby

Since switching it back on, everything seems fine so far *phew*

Maybe I will try for Cooler Master infinite since i couldnt find any Zalman cooler at tis place...

Hey guys, I have some problem with regards with my AC adapter.
It's something like short circuit because I would shock myself everytime I touched the silver frame edge on the laptop.

Can I call Dell up for replacement?

thought i'm using sony vaio laptop lor since i use sony bag XD but they know my laptop quite powerful la

guys.....nokia got nokia care center where u can take ur lappie to repair dell got such place?

y not email dell or give them a call and confirm with them??

hello all.

im running xps studio 13. it was running fine till yesterday morning when it crashed on startup. it kept crashing every 10-15 minutes thereafter and i ended up having to run it on safe mode with networking.

tried system restore to find out if it was a software problem but couldn't manage to run it because it showed some disc error message. tried disc error checking but it failed to run. in the end i ran the Dell diagnostic utility test and it popped up with this:

error code 0142
msg: error code 2000-0142
msg: hard drive 1 - self test unsuccessful. status: 79

anyone know wads up? something tells me my HD has bad sectors or in other words, toasted. Yet to call Dell up. laptop is still under warranty

HD 5650 really dissapoint me a lot a lot. to me, last year HD4670 status= now HD5770. now HD5650= last year HD4650(maybe even HD4570)

Seems like it, well for some when they see previous is HD4670 and then HD5650..they will think that HD5650 would be better as it start with 5

does this mean there still hope for better gc?
