hissing during pee or poo might be a sign of UTI(urinary tract infection)...the juice that can help is cranberry juice not apple juice...but it's hard to find pure cranberry juice in malaysia so most of us get the apple cranberry 100% juice(marigol brand)..maybe u can try giving that see if her condition improves..

they dont have bowel control so if they feel like going toilet they will just release their pee and poo..most of the time just right after they wake up..so if u are carrying it after waking it up from the pouch so that must be the reason
*
er.. can we dilute the cranberry juice that u can get it from pharmacy? the one that normally human use for UTI prevention or perhaps treatment?

neway i hav a ques regarding the diet for a sg.. i'm a college stud, i stay in hostel therefore i hav no access to the fridge on the weekdays.. with no cold storage available, i had limited variety of food and vege to choose from too i guess.. n i'd learnt that using airtight container for storing fruits and vege doesnt quite helpful.. so actually i'm thinkin of providing my sg for a diet as below :

staple : instant bugsy HPW (since i jz need to add honey and water)

vege n fruit mixture daily for (Ca:P -> 2:1) :

1) carrot + honeydew + papaya (1 tea spoon of ea) -> *roughly adding up the ratios = 6.27:3*
2) apple + carrot + papaya -> *roughly adding up the ratios = 6.39:3*
3) pear + honeydew + papaya -> *6.74:3*

n other combo that i'm still figuring out with the options of fruit n vege i can get..

*judgin from the ratios mainly 6.00++: 3, if according to maths it's more or less stil 2:1 rite?*

supplements : gliderade twice a week + small mealworms 2-3 per day?

say if it's liek a rotate the combo once every 2-3 days??

is it ok if i give staple + fruit at nite when the sg wakes

then food in the morn when it goin to sleep n i leaving for class i jz gonna giv staple..

is it ok?
pls do correct me if i'm wrong in any sense..
THx!

Those selling in supermarket are normally 'processed' honey, they are filttered and heated already. As long as it is not written 'RAW HONEY' on the labelling then u can use.

Raw honey are those honey u bought kat kampung kampung...or cameron...or road side...

Go for Senior one.. A fully weaned glider actually can use Wodent Wheel Senior already, i assume u are getting a 2months OOP joey la..

Unless u r too rich, get a junior one for ur glider to use bout a month..then change to senior size... biggrin.gif

@a13solut3

i dun noe if i'll telling the right thing, but it's jz my thought..

the pre-premature joey is pink and u can see the organ, so it is very very very young, at that stage normally he/she shud be in the pouch, for first mayb u can try to create an environment similar to the pouch for he/she's survival? (warm and aseptic).. but regarding the diet/ nutrition i hav no idea..

jz my 2 cents..

@eric138

my fren's feedin Bugsyâ„¢ Small Carnivore Food to her sg, will u reckon tat's a better and ezier to serve compared to instant HPW which needs honey?
