I'm a new owner of a sugar glider

right now he is busy jumping around inside his new cage and he likes to ride the wodent wheel from the outside >.<
no pictures yet. Will try to take some tomorrow~

hi, today is my first time bringing my Kallisto back to my hometown and is keeping him inside an explorarium. It seems that Kallisto is extremely scared and wont come out from his pouch.. How do i calm him so he would go out of his pouch and eat his food?

thx for the reply. I'm greatfull that Kallisto did ate his fruits n vegies n finish his hpw. This morning when he is awake i can really feel he is shivering. the only time he stoped shivering is when he sits on my shoulder. i can even find leftover food inside his pouch. he wasn't this scared when the first time i bring him to his 4feet cage inside my home.
i'm worried this will cause him stress.

he is still shivering after a long time after he wakes up. not to mention he is jumpy at every sudden sound he heard and sudden movement i made.
i tried my best to not make any sudden movement as to not suprise him too much.

its what i did last night.. i did notice my Kallisto was climbing around inside the explorarium area near my shirt. but i guess its going to take more time to make him completely calm and comfortable in my hometown.

he usually wakes at 4am and he wakes me by making the sound of climbing around the metal cage huhu
but today i had to put alarm at 4am coz he cant make any noise inside the explorarium and so i wake up saw him hanging around near my shirt looking scared

My glider never bark... i want to hear him bark too...
i think glider bark is too cute >.<

Yesterday first time i hear my Kallisto barking
it is extremely loud that even i go out of the room and close the door and go make his dinner i can still hear his barking >.<
since then my Kallisto is more hyper than before. It's like he is a different glider. he jumps around like he is excited about sumthing @_@

my first time cutting my sg nail was not much problem for me
tried the trick of cutting while he is sleeping inside the pouch in the afternoon..
although he did pulled his hand/leg back in many time i still managed to cut the nails
now i don need to worry my sg leave scratch mark on my body

Cairo is verry chubby... n cute too >.<
