Would like the opinion of forum goers if they'd be willing to part with money to rent movies if it was more convenient to do so. IE pay to rent movies instead of going to the pasar malam or downloading.

QUOTE(ForScience @ Feb 4 2010, 10:21 AM) Would like the opinion of forum goers if they'd be willing to part with money to rent movies if it was more convenient to do so. its a very general but distinct Question really up to individual, well just pit this rental game with media playing files if you got BD burner its also worth the rental, as you can compare wit the burn product if you're into media playing think the rate now is going for some RM12/= per BD title against the rental of RM20/BD ( might b wrong, dont' quote me ok.. ) c... still boils to individual

Rental sometimes works right well..cause someday somehow we might end up selling off bluray instead collecting..

current price per blu ray is ridiculoues for something that we might only watch once.... if this price range stay that way, rental is the way to go

Generally almost all bluray movies are pure commercial, except a few good titles. the rest are largely not worthy of RM70 - RM150 per disc.
Rental seems to make good sense.
To backup the disc, even the Bluray RW disc is not cheap.

Hi,
I d rent if it was convenient .. I m a mvs fan n I d watch a rental on mos of those indie or those non commercial flicks which are prbbly jus worth one watch only - u knw de type - u like de actr/actrs n would like to catch 1st hand wat its all abt inspite of overwhelmin bad rvws.. At de moment I scour used cps for these to soften de 'resale value loss' tis habit entails.. Thou' de keyword is CONVENIENT - sending it back if its like a 3mile out of de way route is defintely a NO NO..
But tats jus me.. D
