Guys recently my car '97 carbie 1.5 has very bad cold starts. It jerks like hell, as if its out of breath wanting more by inhaling in harder. But when it fails to do so, it dies. What went wrong? Initially the Idle rpm was 800 and D mode was 500 or less. I would suggest that due to low rpm, it dies when i push it to D nor N during cold start.

So i went to the mechanic and got it tuned, now Idles at 1k~1.1k and D at 700~800. It was good when the engine is warm. Once again the same thing happened during cold starts but not as bad as before, i gotta step abit of accelerator for half a min till it stables.

Just went to replace my exhaust last weekend but right now my car sounds more 'ah beng' than before ... too much 'bass' & vroom vrroom leh ....how to fix or reduce that ah?

Actually I replaced the exhaust and also the middle 'box' in the exhaust system too. I mean the two middle box now become one unit with slim-bright-yellow-tube ... I dunno what's that liao ..catalytic converter ah?
* I replaced that bcoz my car is wira SE which has low clearance and that box always hit the speed bumps.

Oh yeah, I went to replace my timing belts and other belts  too. the belts are really worn out ..haha ...RM280 for belts & RM180 for the broken belt tensioner/mounting thingy.
*my car is ~82k mileage.

Actually what caused the deep vroom vroom ah beng sound eh? I accelerate a lil' bit ppl & around me alrdy turn head to my car liao ...haih
The exhaust looks stock to me. But i think it's the middle-tube-yellow-color-thingy that's causing the sound ...am i right? ...haha sorry noob here

Paisey my car got problem again. Last night was driving on highway, I can't exceed 90 kmph. Once touch 90kmph, my car vibrate like hell. Gotta go to workshop to do check up.

How does it vibrate?
Last time i had vibration at high speed too ...but it turned out to be tires worn out un-evenly for the front tires. So I replaced front tires, did balancing + alignment, and it's good to go again.
