42" Full HD LCD, The cheapest around?

Getting Started

Hello folks,
Im looking to buy a well known brand 42" Full HD LCD. I don't really know what's my budget but i would like to buy the cheapest yet good LCD. My usage are for watching DVDs and perhap hook up a console sometime in the future i.e. PS3/XboX.
Need some advises from you experts out there. Thanks!

Any brand will do as most of them are identical in specs. Get Sony V series and above if you dont want to regret later.

hi..I recommend you A HAIER brand LCD tv. I purchased a Haier 42" full hd lcd tv somewhere mid of last year. This tv give me a very good effect comparison even with other brand like Jvc, Lg, Samsung lcd tv. The salesman told me Haier are sharing the same lcd tube with Samsung.
Another thing why i buyed this unit is bcos they provide 5years warranty plus 3 years insurance (if your tv been stolen/thundering/accidently drop) they will change a new set for you. Lastly the price half year ago is RM2700 only... where to find such competitive price and spec
