Hi,

I have accepted a job offer and pass the medical check-up and even signed the letter offer. However when I tender my resignation, my supervisor decided to retain me by giving me a counter offer. After some consideration, I've decided to stay at current company.

My question is, what will happen if I call up the new company's HR and tell them that I have changed my mind? Am I subject to any legal action?

According to my supervisor and friends, there is no such law in Malaysia. Is it true?

Thanks.

VinluV: Yes, I heard that I'll be blacklisted for maybe 1-2 years by thier HR.

flyyy9501: Hmmm.. I am not worry about the notice period. I am more concerned about FFK the new company.

Matrix: True also. They are not so free to haul me to court I think. Hehe...

Thanks for all the inputs. smile.gif
