Dear all... This newbie is seeking for the perfect recipe to a 10k home theater setup.
All the S?? F??? out there please kindly share your comments... icon_question.gif

Budget: RM10,000
Usage: 80% Movie / 20% Music (Mostly new age & pop)
Area: W 12 feet x L 13 feet x H 10 feet

Some equipment that I have auditioned:
KEF iQ60c <-- Very nice center, me like
Mission Mv8 <-- Nice
Mission Mv4 <-- Good rear channel
Wharfdale Diamond 10.6 <-- Like this more than Mv8
Wharfdale wh2 <-- Cheap rear channel
Polkaudio DSWpro600 <-- Gentle bass, with a lot of neat auto tuning settings, good for beginner

Equipment that I want to audition:
SVS PC12-NSD
SVC SCS-01
SVC SBS-01

Some sample recipe for around 10K:
1) Onkyo SR607 + KEF iQ60c + Diamond 10.5 + WH2 + DSWPro600
2) Denon 1910 + SCS-01 x 3 + SBS-01 x 2 + PC12-NSD
3) Denon 1910 + PC12-NDS + full set KEF
4) Denon 1910 + PC12-NDS + full set Diamond

So errm... Again, all the S?? F??? out there please comment on the above recipe?
Or what recipe would you recommend for the above budget and usage?
Many thanks in advance. thumbup.gif

Hi all, the reason for the first rojak recipe is because i can get everything at the same place, and their price is quite good. tongue.gif

Currently favor the... Denon + KEF speakers + SVS woofer...
SVS woofer can only test after chinese new year, the prospective show room is under renovation.

Velodyne Impact 12 sub <-- Heard some nice things about this sub, can test at a shop in sungai wang, I think?

Any other woofer, amp worth checking out?
Thanks smile.gif

p.s. ya... and i agree that 10k is not much... to a serious audiophile... but that's what i can afford now... sweat.gif
