 Housing Loan Checklist?

Dear all,

I have not done this before, so a a newbie, What are the necessary things that needs to ready for a housing loan? Below is what I can gather from reading forums and bank website. What else should i look out for?

1) 3 mths Payslip
2) EPF statement
3) LHDN statement
4) Guarantor??
5) ??

i remember there is no need for guarantor.
i never provide any LHDN statement also


Added on February 2, 2010, 10:03 amjust ask the loan officer, he or she will be able to let u know what you need to prepare. no need worry.

This was from my mortgage broker when I applied for the housing loan:

I.C of each applicant
Salary Slip - latest 3 months
Bank Statement – which showing the salary
EPF statement
EA Form
Borang BE/B with Tax receipt
Booking receipt
Previous S&P
Supporting document – FD, Shares, Unit Trust, ASB…

no guarantor required. also no income tax statement.

you need: epf statement, payslips, sales and purchase agreement and IC.

if ur salary slip figure can't tally with your bank statement i.e bank statement shows that u earn more than what your pay slip stated, the bank will only depend on your bank statement as reference and disregard your salary slip.

Sometime they never even ask for Income Tax statement n Borang E. Unit Trust most likely they won't take into consideration. FD is one of their source of reference too.
