Bought mine somewhere around 2008. when i switch it on, nothing out of ordinary happen.
few months later, it gave a very weird+worrying sound for the first 20 second after i switch it on.
At first, i was kinda scared to play it, but now, i just ignore it.
its been more than a year now. No disc were scratced, no lag in starting up, no lag in live, no problem whatsoeva.

should i be worried or not? is this a usual thing? any of you experienced this one before?

something that might help : mine is a falcon unit. Canada version.

no idea of what sound is that..... got any sound clips?

i'll try to upload video later.



you can hear the noise from 2s - 45s. so, any idea why?

just wanna check if the noise at 9s-10s is from the xbox or its somethings else?

if its just the loud fan noise it sound like its some fan not turning too smooth, maybe its the processor fan sound?

just a site note, yr location for the xbox360 doesnt looks like it has a good air flow, try putting your xbox outside of that location horizontal/vertically check if the noise is still there ?

edit: oh year b4 i forget, are u using any 3rd party fan device behind the xbox? those fan died easily it would also make this noise.

That fan noise is normal....

but the creaking sound is not.

It could come from the DVD drive for the creaking sound.

the navigator i knew always comes with a cat pic, now become kamen raider cant get used to it
