My laptop is using Nvidia 8600M GS (BENQ S41) and it seems the graphic card rosak again, coz when i switch on the laptop the screen immediately produce with alot of dotted lines....

happened once 1 year ago which was just after 1 year (exact last month of warranty). Now i have to go back and fix again have to changed the graphic card. ARRGHHHH!!!

Ic, now my laptop is like 2 years and a half old. hope is FOC. but the time to get it fix needs 3 weeks based on previous experience sigh.
Now, where did i put my warranty card and receipt hmm......

Ah..ic... alright thanks!
Btw i've been a long time user of Benq laptops.
the 1st laptop i bought was the "joybook" version...tht laptop can last man!! almost 7 years old still running strong, nvr went to SC for repair before.

Haih, but now this benq s41 graphic card rosak (which is the fault of Nvidia), and the DVD RW also rosak (I dont use often)...dang....

Wow, interesting never thought i can change the mobo from S41 to S42 mobo.

Signs of your graphic card going crazy. better prepare to get it to SC.
Because mine same case as yours (act. alot of plp kena liao), it gets worse and sometimes the graphic just die on you without any signs.
