question, is there any way to be able to use Nvidia's most up to dare graphic drivers rather than waiting for BenQ to release one which is not likely gonna happen? Got some bugs with the BenQ version it seems, S42 user here. Geforce 9600M GT. I don't really need to use my save power mode as i am using adapters most of the time, please reply. Thank you.

Are you still using the hybrid BIOS (V1.20)...if YES, then the only driver that you can try for now is Dox modded driver, either its 185.85 or the latest 195.62 nod.gif...

Want a easier way, seems like you rarely use your Intel card, change your BIOS to V3.06 which will disable the Intel card and generic card for 9600M GT only..can use normal generic driver but recommend that you use modded ones for more variable features nod.gif

erm... ur explanation is a lil bit hard to understand since i'm not too familiar with BIOS, is there any other way to do this without messing with BIOS? i just want a newer driver update for my GPU, that's all sad.gif i don't mind switching to performance mode everytime i turn on the laptop smile.gif

am i supposed to be doing it this way?

How to do a clean update of graphic driver:

1) Download and install Driver Sweeper.
2) Download the new driver to the desktop. We'll use it later. <----As in the forceware from Nvidia Driver site?
3) Uninstall the old driver with Windows Uninstaller. Go Control Panel, Add and Remove Programs.
4) Restart, boot into Safe Mode. (Press F8 continuously after the computer boot, until the Windows Advanced Menu is brought up)
5) Run Driver Sweeper. Tick the driver to clean, and let it run.
6) Restart, back into normal mode.
7) Install the new driver. Restart if needed.

modded is always da best..

cos nvidia themselves dont make drivers for 9600GT edi..

if ur utilising the hybrid graphics.. get DoX 192.65 or 185.85..
