right click the setup.exe, troubleshoot compatibility, then run using the recommend settings...
but uninstall first the driver.. |

still no luck.. recommended xp but couldnt install..

PM45 and GM45 do support DDR2 800 la...
that's wat my laptop is running at... although it doesn't make any difference compared to DDR2 533MHz when ued on our laptops... |

Well, like astria said, S42 do support 800MHz, well i'm running with it and so far no problem @lee My S42 also the same, that gesture thingy didn't appeared in the menu |

i really dun understand why u guys are so obsessed with finger gesture on the touchpad...
i mean, how often do u use those functions??? keyboard shortcuts are even faster... |

2-3 days with minimal activities...
by that i mean no wifi, no 3G, running on GPRS network, little calls and SMS... consumed 3% in abt 2.5hrs... |

doubleu: not scaring him la..just saying what is the max temp and in what condition it will hit it....
but ur idle temp is rather impressive..where are u living ler....mine here lowest is 60C with latest dox's driver, watching HD is around 66-69C nia with core-AVC and CUDA support on...last time was hitting 72C one ler before i bend my heatsink |

maybe gua..mine was hardcore turned on for folding last week, and this week for d0wnl0ads, so it's like nearly 24/7 no off..and the only time i turned off was last weekend...i just gently tapped the air vent for the heatsink fan..damn lot of dust coming out..and my fan is making some weird sound in rare occasions..
