Still hv few ppl using ASUS G series 9800 GS 6k laptop with blueray before sxps 16 release, Acer ASpire 6k series with full HD before sxps 16 ^.^

lee, what is bitrate?
even is 1080p, still have to consider bitrate when rendering?
*
Well, higher bitrate means better image quality, but also needs more resources...

QUOTE(evolution120 @ Feb 4 2010, 05:19 PM)
dunoo oo.. thinking to run it using realplayer or classic lol..
no money liao buy jor screen sad.gif

i duno yet.. nv try any 1080 movies on my lappy b4 =/
*
realplayer or classic is player, CoreAVC is codec different laugh.gif
CoreAVC can use the CUDA on nvidia card to help decoding the videos, hence lower cpu usage smile.gif
or cheaper solution, DXVA, but not all videos is applicable~

DXVA? is a device?

lolx, coreAVC might be my new choice brows.gif
*
dxva is using hardware acceleration from the gpu as well, but only support videos that encoded to support dxva.... iirc

QUOTE(wanttobuylaptop @ Feb 4 2010, 05:25 PM)
then how do we know the bitrate of a video?
how to obtain high bitrate video?
*
can use mediainfo to check it....
rip the BD? or download the BD-rip, high one usually runs >20gb a movies....
my limit is playing the 8GB one laugh.gif
