i went to low yat yesterday to find the same model led panel but no luck. those offer rm 400-600 all china made 2 shops have the same model but quote me for rm 1200. better i send to SC. Just came back from ANDA hopefully everything will be ok. i can pick my lappy after lunch hour

just got back from ANDA. they found out my mobo broken too(only 1 pin broken, can't display graphic) . so i need to replace the mobo and that will cost me rm1540. so total cost lcd panel + mobo + service charge RM 2508. better i plus rm200 and get new 1 from John. fyi, i bought this lappy for RM2199. so, i just closed my case and pay them rm70 for checking services. so any idea what should i do with my lappy now? It still can function with external monitor and its specs is better than my home pc

can motherboard be soldered? because only 1 pin to connect to lcd panel is broken. everything else is ok. using my benq with external monitor rite now

they said at first they want to replace 1 for me FOC. but 1 of the chip inside is 'scratch' because of the accident so can't use my warranty. and my warranty is officially dead because i don't continue repair at them. if i want to trade in this laptop, you think how much buyer will buy it for?
