i followed bbx's guide for 195.62 but doesnt seem to work.. now working on 185.85..

ah.. done with 185.85... superb.. first install no prob.. but now.. aiyoh..

problem with my "ahem" win7.. not activated..

btw.. whats the 2 Base system device thats missing driver in the device manager.. any idea?? should i install the drivers from the given cd?? 32bit only..

i've installed 185.85 sucesfully..

having a problem with Dirt 2..

when i change the graphic settings, the game will crash.. any idea whats wrong??

not sure about it.. dx9installed. shud be dx9 only.

i can run dirt 2 but i cant configure the settings.. after configure.. the app will crash...

I dont seem to be able to install 195.62 on my s42..

opted for 185.85 and it works like charm..

but the problem i am having now is Dirt 2 crashes when I change the settings..

Any idea whats wrong with it?? and btw.. should I update my intel chipset driver.. and the GMA thru windows update?? will it affect the 9600gt as well?

oh..

i prefer lower heat actually.. yeap.. i did replace the patch by nautis during installation.. a clean reformat and install works but after reboot the switch doesnt work at all.. stays at 9600gt.. and from device manager 9600gt is not there anymore..

right.. now my intel driver is having something wrong.. on the settings thigny.. it says can't find requested string.. everything.. basically, i cant set my intel graphics properties.. but well.. its not much of a use right??

everything seems fine to me but the thing now is the dirt 2 thats troubling me.. app crash..

btw.. should i update my chipset?? how to know its not the display driver??

hahaa.. basically dont have to access intel control panel also lah..

my idle temperature on 185.85 is around 56 to 58.. thats really nice..

but well.. when heat up.. kinda sucks.. on the palm rest area.. still love asus's.. hahaa.. kinda missing my k50ab..

hmm.. so u guys are on 3.06 bios and using Dox hybrid drivers also lah??

should i flash my bios??

kinda wonder why s42 chipset don support 800mhz.. it does make a diff in gaming for 667 and 800 diff..

185.85 is smooth for me.. just install and its done.. easily done..

btw guys.. form everest. it says this chipset can even support up to DDR3 1066Mhz.. true ah?? sound so gay one..
