Usually all those modded ones are not 'Digitally Signed' and should be no problem as all are the same, just that those with 'Digitally Signed' are recognized by Microsoft ..

Well, i cannot help no more as already flashed my BIOS to V3.06..now only using 9600M GT ..

Well, i must say one thing, mine also like BBX, now using V3.06 BIOS which disabled the Intel card, running on Dox modded 195.62 driver, the temp is 57C in air-con room and 62~63C in normal temp room...which i think is already good enough ..

With Intel card, you won't feel heat at all as the card doesn't generated heat much ..

Yup, 57C is GPU while 51C is CPU...if got 51C for GPU sure i .. ...

Well, that temp without cooling pad though...if i on my cooling pad, might get around 55C like that idle and load at 69C ..well, i played one HD movie recently, static at 69C without any cooler in air-con room

Well, some S57 user can do 3++ hours...care to tell what setting?? And also what apps running at the time??

GMA no need undervolt ...no heat ..

But, undervolting GPU is quite a risk ...anyone tried before??

Don't BUY!!!.... Seriously, like everyone said...ITS the GPU that problematic NOT the BRAND ..if you google around, you'll find other laptop with the same model of GPU (Nvidia 8M Series) having the same problem ..unless you got it dirt cheap ..

Well, some got problem while some can install perfectly without any problem..mostly the problem are with x64 Win 7, x86 i guess no problem ..

195.62 got no issue no more lor, maybe a bit of bug but still can be use ...

GPU ...on the left is GPU, that is why so hot ..

..now, that's interesting...OFF 9600M GT,there should be no heat generated from the left palm rest side and it should be cool...when its ON then the heat will outburst ...

With Intel, should be no heat at all

Well, from the looks of it, can fit into any laptop ..

I use 195.62 before with Win 7 x64...no problem for me ..but sometimes it does freezes

Seems like everyone is having problem switching from Intel to NV..maybe can post something in Dox thread stating this problem ..much more easier, and maybe Dox can fix it ..

If you got one old Acer adapter...can use that one, the same ..
