There an option on the BIOS to activate the overclock...
You should really discuss this on the Alienware thread....

Well, that's ULV cpu for you, not too hot tongue.gif

QUOTE(dany06 @ Feb 10 2010, 01:00 AM)
i have a question here. i bought my s42 on 23rd July from thundermatch.
i just notice they is ANDA sticker behind my laptop ticked on 2010 and january. but i dont remember it was there when i bought the laptop or after i sent it to ANDA for LCD check on 4th Feb. but ANDA did nothing at the laptop because no stock left to change lcd panel. Only the front desk get hold of the laptop for a moment. Im not sure if she put the sticker that time. Im worry if i bought 2nd hand laptop. tongue.gif Because after she saw my serial no, she seems different and asked if i have sent the laptop before. then i said no, i just bought it. then she quiet and continue looking at her pc and talk about other thing.

In usual mean, you can upgrade the HDD, but the warranty for that HDD will be voided, while the warranty for other parts still valid as long the damage isn't because of the HDD upgrade....

Well, should be no problem if its the exact same panel...
Warranty wise, should be okay if there's no visible mark being opened forcefully tongue.gif

btw i notice some keyboard use the wird anti-ghosting, anyone knows what that means by keyboard anti ghosting?

QUOTE
Developed by Microsoft’s Applied Science’s Group, which worked on the Xbox 360, the keyboard’s anti-ghosting technology allows gamers to press up to 26 keys at once without incident because the keyboard’s advanced hardware detects each keystroke individually. By comparison, the standard keyboard utilizes row and column wires that react to each other when pressed, which is fine for typing usage but leaves much room for error when complex key combinations necessary for PC gaming are administered. This allows fast-fingered gamers to execute complex commands without fear of ghosting, providing a truer gaming experience.

1, 2, 3 years, all are international warranty.

Transfer details when you are at another country only.

but from this post, its seems like only 3 years in international warranty..

QUOTE(cy-yang @ Feb 10 2010, 11:36 PM)
