I'm sure many of us have some strange thing happen throughout their life. Let's share these strange yet haunting and awesome experience here. So I'm first.

1st Experience
During my childhood, around like primary school till around form 2-3, I've been experience this strange eye sight. Many times when I'm walking alone around my grandma house, I can see these black shadow passing through beside me in a blink, resemble dog and cat. Just a blink like 1 sec. Then I watch clearly again there's nothing there. At the same time, my grandma house has a dog that died before I'm born, whether it's black or not I didn't ask. It happen not once, but many times. I don't remember when it end, as I don't have this phenomenon anymore.

2nd Experience
I usually sleep in my grandma's room (she's my care-taker) as a kid. Sometimes my cousin come back from her study in KL, she would ask me to accompanied her sleeping upstairs. During that time when I'm sleeping upstairs, I wake up suddenly and find myself circulating in front of the Buddha statue (most Chinese house place their Buddha statue at location in the hall room to pray). I felt really tired and I head back up, my cousin told me " you suddenly wake up, and walk by yourself ". I guess she think I'm going to take a pee or drink. This happen twice then after that, it didn't happen anymore. I classified that as sleeping walking but the weird part is I wake up with my body is still circulating by itself with my head staring the ceiling in front of my god mother (Kwan Yin) statue.

3rd Experience
I move in with my parent in a new house for like now 10 years plus. I never experience anything strange until last 6 year ago, I was sleeping at one night, then I wake up on my bed, still laying down, I saw a very bright light shining off a person just standing beside my bed. It was a man figure, wearing a white shirt (the light is from that white shirt glowing) facing me. My eye was very blur and I was really dead tired, I couldn't care less if it's a spirit or a thief that break in my house, I continue back to sleep without worrying it might hurt me. I wake up and I still remember what happened, I'm curious so I ask a friend of mine, who is a god-son of a tibet monk. He asked him and reply me that what I see might be "La Tuk Gong", one of the god that only Malaysian Chinese praying, usually put outside the house. I ask him why, he said because of the reason white shirt.

4th Experience
Whether it's a dream or not, one night I was sleeping and I'm not sure if it's a dream, I wake up again lying on my bed, I saw an Indian woman figure dancing with her hands beside my bed, I'm not sure if it's her hand showing illusion trails or it's many hands, in front of me, this time I'm really dead tired again but deep inside I'm scare my heart beat fast so I try to get back to sleep again with an attitude of " I don't care what happened, I just want to sleep " and my body just let me sleep.

The 3rd and 4th one is the most haunting I ever experienced, but I myself never see any ghost/spirit during when I still have my full consciousness.

The strangest phenomenon life experience i had in my life was my grand wedding last year..

hmm, do u consider not having a single nightmare throughout ur life as a strange phenomenon?

I would say its the mysterious brain that store and maintain the ever recordings, our dreams can fool ourselves and make us believe it no matter how bizarre and it is creativity at work. I am aware of it ever since my personal encounter from dreams to happening and from thoughts that has happen, nothing supernatural and all I can say is what goes around comes around.

You dream of the things you see in your life but they don't behave rational, our mind concoct the scenarios without rules & ethics or any code in reality. That is creativity in extreme without boundary, you did not dream of seeing Jesus or Allah did you? Because he is not in your mind, if you do and you are not a believer, then you got a message:) Haha just joking.

Back in my school days, i use to dream of demons and monstrous figure walking towards me.
When i woke up it's my teacher standing next to my desk.
I guess dreams do proof wonderful radar in some ways.

Well of course my paranormal experience would nv be beter then some who claimed that they had speeches with gods in their dreams though.
i wonder did they had this convesation in Starbucks or Coffeebean.

How about a few dejavu-s.
I have experienced a few time where I felt that I have been in this moment before.
Probably in dreams.
It felt very similar although there will still be some difference.

Dejavu already have a rather rational explanation, like the brain having a hiccup. The brain is a constance recorder and imagine the recording had a glitch and blackout for a fraction of a second, when resume, you tends to feel like you have been there before. Our mind can go between dreamland and reality in split second, so it is not ironic.

When it happen in dreams before it happen, then your conscience may wanted it to happen and the brain concocted the realm. However, if it is an incident that happen after the dream, you should check out Extra Sensory Perception (six sense). What is more intriguing is if it happen while you are awake better known as instinct, woman claim to have better intuition they say.

Well I was driving to the Duta roundabout and as I went up the ramp, I felt like I was seeing what looked like clouds/fog surrounding the roundabout, then in a split second I rammed by brake real hard. A gigantic trailer rushed pass in front of me. If I never woke up from that illusion, I won't be typing this now.

Also, it was wee hours in the morning and the sun hadn't rise yet, I was driving up the ramp that connects Jalan Kuching and Lebuhraya Mahameru-Jalan Tun Razak direction. I thought I feel asleep and when I opened my eyes, I almost crashed into the center divider after I got out of the ramp. That means I went out all the way across 3 lanes after getting out of the ramp. There were 2 ways I could have died, crashing into the divider or being crashed by a speeding vehicle along the lanes...

I experience this quite a few times too.. since i was a kid... I remembered i dream that about a week ago ( since i keep telling this to my friend) but then.. it really happens... But nothing major though..

Your brain play tricks on you especially the things you worry the most, it appear time and again and dreams too are recorded just like reality, when the two memory meet, you can imagine what can happen, which is real and dream? Although I have no religion but I am open for all possibilities and would assume that our life is like video game to the higher being.

It makes life a lot more interesting to imagine yourself defy the instructions fed to you maybe doing things differently than being you like system failure and you infect others or got people into trouble, nahte83 maybe experiencing careless game player or interference of some kind and others see ghosts that they are not suppose to, maybe those are reserved lives waiting to take on their role as we can die many times but still got some lives to spare.

I do got involved in road accidents many times on a bike and ever time it happen, I told myself its not time yet and the scary part is I dream that I die, maybe I did and running on reserves.

personal experiences...

Story one:
when i was a kid bout the age of 6-8, i tend to see a shadow of a real size man walkin' around the house. usually its after 12am though. the first one was when i was watching tv downstairs (sleeping downstairs that day), n this shadow came out from the altar n walked into the kitchen (when the door was locked). there're times i'll see it walking in my room or my parent's room.

Story 2:
i was 16 when i was in Genting for some events. was sleeping in First World Hotel. the first nite there... i was sleeping alone. at 3am, i heard the door open but i wasn't bothered n went to sleep. my friends were worried when they found out i slept alone, so the next day i slept in another friend's room. the two of them were heavy sleepers n they slept immediately on the spot.

at 2am, i heard the water shower, the basin tap n the flush all working at the same time. i think it went on up to bout 6am but i was too tired to be bothered bout it. the next morning, the whole toilet floor n etc was wet like someone was using it.

that evening, my friend was sleeping alone in the room as i was in a few rooms away n another friend was downstairs... i received a call bout 5pm, calling me to get back to the room. so i rushed back n her voice was scared. she opened the door, and the other friend came back bout that time too.

we asked her wat happened n she told us someone was tryin' to open the door several times. she was having one key, my other friend was having one more key, i didnt have a key. n we all weren't around to open the door... so we went out n ask the cleaner that was just opposite our room, n she said nobody was along this walkway until the two of us gals came by. that freaked us out...

Story 3:
this happened when i was like 19/20 years old.. on the month of march. just to give u a brief idea... i was never allowed around morgues, graveyards, hospitals n etc as i have a 'weak' body. n i tend to end up being sick or getting into accidents on the same day or the next day if i do end up in any of these places.

on that year.. march was the worse of the lot. i received a call around noon by a friend saying his housemate died in the house n he've to go back. as he didnt have a transport, i offered to go back with him. that day, for the first time in many years, i saw a dead man all purple in colour right in front of my eyes in the room i once went in...

that day onwards, i started feeling my body getting weaker. n on the following week, our friend's twin brother died in a car accident. i had no choice but to follow to the morgue in GH. tat day, when they went into the cold room, i saw white shadows coming out from the room. n that day, a friend of mine was shivering n pale because he was seeing too many ppl around. it came to a point he bend down n started vomitting. i bend down to help him, n i felt someone tugging my handbag. i just pulled it back to me n ignored, much worried bout my friend.

he then went to walk with another friend far away from us. n bout 10 minutes later, one of them called me over. a few of us were sitting there... n then they told me that there's a lady beside me, looking at me. that didn't freak me out much, it freaked someone else. so when one gained back his composure n felt better, the other one felt sick instead. it went on for a while, but i left with one friend as i couldn't take it much longer. later on, when i opened my bag, i can no longer find my prayer amulet in the bag. donno where it went... or what happened to it.

the following week, i had 3 incidents all bout the same time. the first was i saw a shadow of a face in the air when i was driving back to the apartment of the dead housemate. and then at the lobby of the place, i saw a shadow of a dog walkin' into the darkness. which was weird... n finally when i was bout to get out of sunway, at the u-turn.. i saw a old junk car disappeared in front of me.

that week itself, grandma came back from malacca n gave me a string that was prayed by 10 monks or something. since then, everything stopped for good.

Story 4:
i don't know the base or reason of this..but this is what happened to me personally n some friends of mine thinks there's 'someone' with me.

for the past 2 years (not including this year), i had an incident a day of which i'll be fully asleep, dreaming. n each dream is always the fact that i'll be forced n raped. the weird thing bout it all is that.. when i wake up, i'll be in cold sweat, i can't move, i can't really breathe, n i'll feel the pain down there.. like i really was raped. it'll all subside after bout 5 minutes time though.. its the weirdest of my experiences so far.

I nope you don't mind I say something after reading your story, please don't be offended since you made it public.
I try to imagine what you see based on your words and are not as impress at the "shadow" since it didn't interact with you, as for someone tries to open the hotel room door, well, you didn't ask the cleaner if she is have cleaned the room your friend in, it could be her.

It is common for people who believe in ghosts to think they saw it compare to someone who don't believe in such a thing, and the part that you got intruded could be as simply as wet dreams due to the porn movie you may have watched, I remember my experience of sexual intercourse is after I watched them.

Of course you can feel it, maybe you touched yourself and you didn't realize, as for man, well sperm is the evidence. I remember there were a few movies on TV that portray such incidents, could that have been the caused?

Anyway I am more into six sense than ghost.

anyways.. first lets go back to the hotel room. i wouldn't know if someone had my keys to open my room door on the first nite. but on the 2nd nite, we did ask the lady if she tried opening our door. sadly to say, her keys only opens the doors that's on the opposite side (for all rooms) as we tried her keys n we can't open it at all.. the door did open but the latch was lock. so u can't push it further than it should be.

as for shadows, i'm not the only one in the house that had seen in. a few of my maids ran away because of that. an aunt n a uncle of mine had seen it before when they were sleeping downstairs. but again.. as what my mum would say, i'ts a "guardian" in the house. n i believe so too.

lastly.. lets go to the story bout being 'raped'. i don't believe its a ghost in my room or with me, as i said my house is protected. however, i can say is that i wouldn't be touching n playing with myself n struggling myself at the same time n feeling an extreme set of pain when i get up. again, it could be my psychological issue that had happened previously that leads me back to a nightmare.. PS: wasn't wet at all when i'm out of bed. lol.

the best i can remember and wont forget till i die:

SPM.. math and english paper.. when i read the questions, suddenly i became blank.. but my hand were giving out all the answers until finish.. really, dont even see other place/ppl that time.. i cannot control my hand and my head away from them pen and the papers... rite after that i was like "what happened to me?" and i checked my answers.. WHOA! i cannot imagine i write all the math formulas, solution , the english essays were very good.. i'm shocked that day, and rite after the exams.. i pray lah, thank God for helping me ..and i got As on those 2 papers. ..

i realize alot of things in the world people keep trying using logic to make sense but sometimes certain things are just unexplainable. Some ppl that dont believe when its too late they themselves also didnt have chance to avoid.
Ask yourself why people are so free to make up things such as this. If you say in the world only 10% says such thing sound logical but its like 50% to 60% ppl experience it before and tell u but u keep telling yourself its fake its just your imagination.

You got me wrong, I did not say its fake, just try to screen it with the known human condition before spending time wander about the never ending story.

My personal experience is even more bizarre, you put percentage to describe as if there is a credible survey in statistic is from your own impression just like me trying to make sense of it. Since this is PHD school, we should practice science first then just ghosts stories or someone's creative writings.

I see one common factor in all your incidents. Just like me, extremely tired was the most common. Other cases were being in a situation of intense fear or pressure. It is under such circumstances that these strange things happen. I will not tell my stories as similar stories were already told here. Somehow playing with water in the bathroom and force sex seemed to be the favorites.

If you believe in spirits then let it be spirits that is causing it. If you think there is a logical explanation then its logic. We can use logic for Nahte’s case. The mind was tired and need rest. It paints an illusion of save environment to the retina but the eye fails to be deceived by it. At the most crucial moment it snaps back to reality. Likewise, you may just call it divine protection.

For those who believe it is spiritual my advise is do some research on sleep and make sure you get enough sleep. You are vulnerable to spiritual attack (see wan dai – in Cantonese) when you don’t have enough sleep. Lack of sleep is also a form of intense pressure. Nahte, please get enough rest when driving.

Djcarmen, you were very in favor of spiritual until the thought of being raped by a ghost ridicules you. Let me offer a logical side. Perhaps of late you had to walk through dark and lonely places. As a female, you are always on your guard when going through these places. Your brain was tremendously under pressure. It creates a warning of future consequences. Just like the brain can paint a false illusion in the retina, it knows how to create the sensation of penetration. It is common to awake in cold sweat and it will take some time to subside when you awake from nightmares.

For those who are scared of ghost, learn to relax. You don’t need to pressure yourself too much.
