A little complain about the organizer. I paid for the RM103 tickets in advance and what I find out on the day of the event? You can get 10% discount with the flier that they are giving out at the ticket booth!!!
I mean this is a desperate last minute attempt to try to sell the seats and it is really a slapped in the face for those who bought this tickers in advance. They should have instead offer an early bird discount.
The pricing is also too high for an event such as this. RM250++ for the front seats. I mean this ain't no Kelly Clarkson concert. RM150 would have been a much better pricing. They could have probably sold out the show if they priced it much cheaper.
For the 230pm show, the front half is mostly empty. Really shameful cause it will give the impression to the organizer that Malaysian aren't very supportive of this event. VGL might not even be brought back next year. I hope the 830pm show fares better cause I really want to go again next year.
After the intermission for the 230 show, I believe a lot of people sneak down to the front half cause after the intermission, I find that my row and row in front of me are curiously mission a lot of people. This is really horrible to those who paid for the front rows.
The lack of promotion is shameful. I only found out about this because I saw the banner at Rock Corner. This is essentially a videogame event and the logical place to market and sell your ticket is the many videogames store we have all over Malaysia.
But a music store? That's just plain stupid decision. I didn't even see any advertisement in our national newspapers or TV stations talking about this. The organizer could have also enlisted Sony or any videogames shop to set up a few booths for games to pump us up before the event but what we have instead is a very small and unexciting cosplay event.
The merchandise is also not price very competitively. The necklace and the sticker and the patch is fair but the T-shirt, key chain, CD, and program book is just daylight robbery. They even have the nerve to reduce the CD price to RM60 during the intermission. This is really screwing those who bought the CD at RM80 before the show starts.
The show itself is amazing and an eye opener. They played everything I wanted to hear. I was so happy when Norihiko Hibino came out. And the opportunity to meet the man and get his signature just goes down as one of the highlights of my life. Laura is such an amazingly small woman with such a big voice. Jack and Tommy are both great showman. I suggested some AC and PoP songs if they come back next year. I even get to chat with Tommy a little about guitars cause I am a player myself. My only regret is that we are not allowed to take pictures with them.(Will post pic of their signatures later.)
true true.....i really like the show, but then not much ppl know bout VGL, at 8.30 show there was also a girl dress up as a ragnarok knight i think but turn out to have a male voice...LOL... is him Tony or Tommy? the creator of VGL?I mean this is a desperate last minute attempt to try to sell the seats and it is really a slapped in the face for those who bought this tickers in advance.
