man.u deserve their win today...they want it more...their finishing more clinical...
no controversy today which is good... we only have ourself to blame... for me from now arshavin should not play as a striker..he's more useful as attacking winger...despite his determination, he doesnt have physical ability to shrug off defenders... plus eboue should start at the right wing & allow nasri or rosicky in the middle... denilson should not be in the first team.. i've the feeling cesc have lost touch with his dead ball, corner, freekick & etc recently... move on guys, next stamford bridge...we'll try from there...do another decent run..and hope for man.u & chelsea slip.... |

QUOTE(watever77 @ Feb 1 2010, 02:30 AM) it seems some of us here blame arshavin...remember he plays out of position because he's usually attacking winger... when he play as a stiker, his mentality will be "no one more advance than me"...so thats why he's been rather selfish & try to finish the movement himself even though there're some support from rosicky & nasri...his from clearly drop since he's filling RVP boots upfront... |

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Feb 1 2010, 02:41 AM) what is so positive about that? I'm expecting the foward score the goals. Oh well, Arsenal didnt have striker or foward... its positive because its better to score a goal than not score...at least got better goal difference... if forward scores & we're winning its all positive la brader, we'll laugh all da way till tomorrow like man utd fans..hehe we just take the lost today because simply there're better...pick ourselves up...looking forward to the next game..hopefull for their slip...if there's no slip from them, we can always try next season... go gunners !! |

QUOTE(gry @ Feb 8 2010, 03:58 AM) During Invisible time, Arsenal team completed with combination of Experienced Players (Adams, Keown, Seaman,Bergkamp etc) + good players then turn to world class players (Henry, Pires, Ljunberg) + physical players such as (Vieira, Parlour,Gilberto). These kind of players that bring Success to Wenger. exactly...strategically sometime we dont need long term striker....just enough for a replacement or short term striker who can stay fit until the end of the season & what most importantly knows the art of scoring goals in EPL....young or old is not the issue....man.utd did it few season ago when they signed Hendrik Larrson.. we dont neccesserily need to sign top player such as ronaldo & messi...of course they're not available in january transfer windows (we dont have fund to buy them too anyway).. so knowing RVP is injured at the moment, not buying striker in january transfer windows is wenger biggest mistake this season... rely on straight running walcott & rusty bendtner ? injury prone eduardo ? unproven vela ? & finally helpless unsupported & out of position arshavin ?Nowdays, Arsene keep produce players but only to sell them because lack of silverware. Flamini,Hleb,Lassana Diarra are the best example. They really good with Arsenal but lack of silverware forced them to leave club. I dont know how long Fabregas will stay with Arsenal if Wenger still stubborn to spend. Fabregas, Arshavin already begged Wenger to spend but Wenger is still Wenger. What the hack u resign Sol Campbell when ur team need Strikers? After losing Persie, I think buying new strikers is a MUST when Eduardo, Bendtner also injured but Wenger signed Sol Campbell. True Gunners surely dont want to see Wenger leave or been sacked but as fans, when 5 years without any silverware, I dont think Wenger is GOOD enough to guide Arsenal anymore. Guardiola only need 1 year to build very good team although he lack of experince, Guus Hiddink only took half season to bring FA Cup back to Stamford Bridge after 2 years without silverware, Ferguson took 3 years to build his new team after Mourinho era at Chelsea and win three BPL titles in a row, Champion League, FA Cup since that, Benitez took 5 years at least to win all titles except BPL, Redknapp guide Porstmouth to FA Cup glory with his " underrrated players". So where is Wenger? Keep build new team every year while promising players gone. Although im not Arsenal fans, but i can feel what Arsenal fans feel every season.
