thats coz u already know how to fly maa ... hahahahaa

Coz i thought it will be twitchy as heli go scale down. but this one not that much la... i set it basic on radio. pitch only 11+/-, throttle is 0, 40 80 90 100, idle up throttle 100 90 80 90 100. no expo or dual rate and swash plate is ail (50) ele(50) pit(45).

Wanna try 3D but the blade is still plastic one.. wait 4 carbon lor...

So far for me idle set up is more for people who start to learn 3D and people who already able to do normal figure of 8. But still u can learn it in earlier stage just 4 knowledge.

Coz sometimes beginner forgot that when on odle up the negative pitch is activated. Thus when throttle down the heli went down faster than normal setting. in case of emergency(beginner) their normally tendency over to take throttle down when heli a bit out of control.

is this the exact default measurement?
so can i put the link on my screen and adjust prior to it????
*
U can use this image as a guide.. then adjust it back a bit to your own figure.

Firstly make all the linkage length base on the picture. then fix it in the heli.. then tune it again for perfect setup.
1. Linkage for servo to main swashplate
- Adjust to make swashplate level from all side in 50% point of throttle (center stick)\
2. Linkage for mixing arm to blade holder
- Use the pictures length.. Don't do more adjustment on this one.
3. Linkage for swashplate to mixing arm
- Adjust to get pitch 0 degree in center stick. ( both blade ).\
4. After that normally u will have full travel from + pitch and - pitch with lowest point and highest point of throttle stick.
5. Normally it will became 10/11 +/- degree for this setup.. Can make it bigger or smaller usign swashplate setting in TX (pit).

** 2mm and 6.5mm do not adjust.. leave it like that.

another thing. These measurement is only for trex v2 (old type of linkage). Not applicable for newer linkage.

it's not about head design, but the ball link design.. newly align design is abit shorter if i'm not mistaken. so in the image will be slightly longer and it has been measured from shoulder of the ball link. but for hk450gt i think it's still using the old v2 design.

Personally what really matter is the design of the heli especially main rotor head. Even it's flasher or tarot; as long it's design is the same as trex pro, it will perform just like trex pro (within the pilot itself). Good pilot is the key where any CCPM heli will perform well if the pilot have good reflex hand and good set up. Even Belt-CP can perform flawlessly as I have been through it before.

Well... It's all depend on the pilot itself.

Mine in BTHO.
With setup of :
Pitch : -12 -6 0 6 12
TH : 96% flat
Wooden Blade Align 325
450M Stock Align motor and Hobbywing 40A
3x Tower Pro 9G cyclic
1x Align 520 with Futaba 401 Gyro
TX : Futaba 6exh 35.140mhz

In Jelutong
Setup :
same as above except
325 carbon fiber OEM blade
3x Hitec 65HB cyclic
1x Align 750 Gyro

DS520 align is good servo 4 tail. paired with Align 750 is the best. Align 410M is digital servo is is also good for 3D but 4 some reason it's durability is not to par with Hitec 65MG. For about same speed and good durability, choose Hitec 5065MG Digital servo for cyclic. It's highly recommended for hardcore 3D and crash resistance is high.

ds410m durability has been addressed by many
but most of the many are using 6v BEC supply to the ds410m
i have oso read this issue ... so i ran my ds410m at 5v
fast enuff for me and no issues of durability yet .. hehehehe
5065 of coz la good ... but u have to pay abit more lorr tongue.gif

got my hand of 3 units of 410m. Belong to a friend. Testing it with my trex pro 450..
