mode 2 here .....
in mandarin, the chinese, taiwanese they call this "america-hand" and "japan-hand" for mode 1 and mode 2 but not sure how to match them.

true lar, its matter of preference.

for me,im used to mode 1, but mode 2 is easier to control coz my right hand reflex slightly faster, but i cant control the left rudder, always thrttle up when im trying to rudder...

This is what the manufacturer claim that even beginner can hover, but make sure that you know how to setup and hover at the "recommended" location (Every system have the limitation). It somehow will helps cutting the crash cost... but i don't know how well it can helps in gaining hover skills...

For me.... since i'll be moving to FF, so i will need that just as insurance if i lost control of the heli during FF, but if you are still in Hover stage... i think better don't use that. What's the point of "AUTO HOVER" when you are practice hovering...??

I fly mode 1.... but acctually suffering too...

why are you suffering in mode 1?

well, in mode 1 i use both thumb and index for my throttle/roll

and just a thumb for my pitch/yaw

its easier that wayi think...

Guys, somehow when I hold my heli in hands and let it throttle, there's very strong vibration. Normal?

strong vibration I don't think that's normal, small vibration should be fine ...
but I believe the main point is depends on what type of heli you are playing .....

guys, now my lama drift to the left side in a half circular motion...

could it be the inner shaft???

your swash looks level ... your servo horns are as close to 90 as u can get them ... thats the best u can do then
if u wanna further 90 your horns then have to SUBTRIM thru the radio which your radio does not have (6ex oso does not have)

your lama drift(yaw/rudder) motion .. then trim it using the trim on your radio ... increase GAIN to increase gyro sensitivity and see if it helps .. vibrations are bad for gyro .. try to eliminate as much vibrations as u can to have the gyro working at maximum efficiency
inner or outer shafts will contribute to vibrations if not straight .. nothing to do with the heli yaw drift ... other probs could be one of the motors are starting to wear down and cannot keep up with the other motor

try to minimise your vibrations .. check blade balance/tracking .. bent shafts .. worn out gears

i see, but what i meant was its does not rudder/yaw but its drift in circular motion, but only to the left side (nose out)...

also, my lama v3 doesnt hover without me inputting the throttle anymore, it either lift up or lift down if i let go the throttle..

unless i control the throttle up and down then it stays, once i let go... it will lift up...or if i bring down 1 click it goes down...

any idea?

aaahhh ... not TAIL DRIFTING ... its rolling abit to the left and tilting forward causing the heli to go in circles/circuits
trim aileron to the right and elevator back abit .. that should solve your prob coz thats all u can with current set up

batt life ... motor life .. radio potential meter life .. all on a budget will wear down .. so it will never perform like it was new unless u change or upgrade those things

ya, actually it's bad but you cannot eliminate vibration totally, so just minimize loh ....
