ESky charger? Very slow one, not sure if it can be used for other capacity rating or not ....... i.e. from 1800 to 2200maH.

But FYI, currently to recharge my stock battery with stock charger, from ~11.2v to ~12.4v, it takes more than 5 hours. It will be longer if your battery is 2200maH.

I think Qiw was trying to tell you that if you use Esky charger to charge your 2200maH batt then the status light will not turn green to indicate fully charge. So you may not realize when your battery is done charging, in the long run which I think it is not something good.

Or it takes really really long hour to fully charge up.

Mode 1 or mode 2 should be ok lah if you are comfortable. tongue.gif
But you will never know if you did not try both .... like the one that Qiw talked about .....
Samething happen to my BCP with the longer & better Align wooden blade, now my heli has a tail drift problem, I suspect it may be due to that blade so I am going to change back to the stock one ..... and try again biggrin.gif
I did not encounter this before ......

OK, I will take your suggestion later. Currently I am setting up the stock blade and test again, usually if I am using the ESky stock Tx, I just need to turn the gyro gain knob to 1 o'clock direction then the tail will lock nicely.

When I was using the long main blade, I can't even lock the tail with the gain knob turn to 2 o'clock direction, but I also did not see tail wagging lah, it looks like the gain still not yet over compensate, and can be increased more ....

Ask you guys with experience for a question.

You know lah the quality of BCP, so case 1, both blades are the same pitch but when you spin up you will find that it does not track. Case 2, made the pitch of a blade slightly off by 0.5 degree to another one, then you will see the blade is tracked. So which one you will choose?

I know that the ideal case is to get both fulfill but I think I need to choose either 1.

*Note that the blades are new and balanced, feathering shaft and main shaft also new.

QUOTE(QiW @ May 18 2010, 02:32 AM)
normally choose the more positive pitch ..
meaning when u hover and track your blades .. increase the pitch of the lower one and leave the higher one alone
TRACKING MUST BE DONE DURING HOVERING ... HELI MUST BE IN THE AIR
*
Errrrr, this add difficulty to a beginner like me if the tracking only can be done when hovering and heli in the mid air tongue.gif

I don't understand the rationale behind this but I know that a lot of them actually holding the heli down on a table, then just spin up to check the blade tracking. Usually I would just do it that way. Anyhow, I just dare to push the throttle up to the middle and if it is tracked I will leave it as it is.

I think if the heli is in the air your throttle should be more than the middle point (maybe 75%) already so sometimes you can only see the tracking problem at that level.

This is what I am doing right now. kekekekeke
But how far you will push your throttle using this way to check? 50%? 75%?

I can imagine that your heli should be very close to you if we do the tracking when hovering else you won't be able to see the small out of track.
This is really tough ........

I don't dare to push it so hard .... hehhehehe scare those cheapo stock wooden blade will break apart then I will be hit badly ......... maybe when I got the industrial google then I will consider pushing it to 75% ....

The sound already loud enough when it is 50% with just a foot away..... Trex one should be more scary ...... hehehheehhe

Yes, I totally agree that a small ignorance could cost you a lot!!!!

The other day I forgot to switch my BCP back to HH mode and flew with rate mode. So busy to cope with the tail and found something not right then landed the heli (fortunately I din crash). At the end, only I realize why my gyro switch in the wrong position one? huahahahahhaahha .....

just spool up .. then make a note of where the stick is when the heli is getting light and about go lift off the ground
then tie the heli down to a brick or something .. push throttle to about that point .. then look at blades to track .. should be good enuff

lucky u screw on your skids super tight .. or else suddenly rocket up .. hahahaha
*
Usually I will just press the landing skid with my palm to hold the heli down .... hehehhehehe ... quite dangerous actually .... I should use an industrial google .....

What the heck to charge rm500 for all setup????

I think it is pointless to let people setup for you. Note that you will crash at least 1 or 2 times before you can hover properly, so the best is to learn this up.

Every time you crash and replace parts you will have to repeat the process again, you want to pay people every time meh?

Yeap, I think if you really want to enjoy this hobby totally, learn everything and not just flying only tongue.gif

But if you really want to pay someone to setup for you for the first time, I suggest you to see how people do the setup, at least you have a clue where to start for your second setup .....

Errrrr, I thought ESC is suppose to connect to battery directly?
And usually the other end you will connect to your Receiver.

So usually ESC is in between a battery, receiver and motor. This is the connections in my BCP.

And why do you think your receiver is burnt?

Ohhhh, now only I know that you actually plug your receiver straight to the battery ..... without the ESC in between.

Hehehehehe, as a newbie I will think that after all these steps until 6th one, the next step will be a "Nervous & Torture time"

Fun time only for those expert people like you and qiw tongue.gif
