flying speed ... HORSEPOWER important laaa
the more horsepower normally the more speed lorr when is the CESSNA going to fly ? hehehe make sure u go to a designated or field which is used for flying so there will be other flyers around to help u ... to spot the plane etc just in case u panic .. hahahahahaa |

target to maiden next week ..... if everything going smooth lah.....
Nowadays I sim kau kau with airplane. Guess that my cessna should be much much more easy to control compare to my bcp. Now so torture as I just can look look the plane only ..... Is there any complicated setup like heli ar? I have tried to balance my prop ..... what else ar? |

get a reputable brand prop ... those normally quite well balanced and do not require additional balancing most of the time ... and they are more efficient compared to CAP AYAM props
planes are the simplest thing compared to helis to setup just make sure u set your dual rates properly ... expo and travel follow the recommended throws and expo to about 50% for the cessna other than that ... ensure no/minimum binding on the servos and most importantly ... DO NOT PANIC if u can FF a heli then the plane is no problem to fly except for the landing part which is the most difficult when flying rc planes next most difficult is the take off depending on plane la of coz this is where i currently fly i am going to attempt FPV flying ... once i get my setup properly done ... hehehehe |

I think that one should be a key chain camera. I have one too, it is sensitive to vibration so if heli has vibration then it will cause the video flickering.
This one you can get it from OHS around RM50 including postal. Don't going too fast lah, enjoy your heli first then slowly spending your money. Doing things too fast and you will get boring fast also. Like brother slapshock, his heli feeling is fading Added on October 27, 2010, 4:35 pm FPV? so high tech ah .... hahahahahahah, then will you install GPS on your plane? that video is done using camera similar to MD80 (google it)
mounted on a ZAGI flying wing .. total price including shipping .. less than rm70 (includes 2GB micro SD) i have not tried mounting it on my heli to take video so dunno what it is like on a heli ... see got mood i try and mount it on my 450PRO and take some videos laa .. hahahahaha ccfook ... since u already got your LAMA amd BCP .. fly the sheet out of the LAMA 1st ... at the same time whack the SIM kow kow oso after u can fly the LAMA anyways u want ie. land on chair go under table etc etc .. and lots of hours on the SIM (able to hover single rotor easily) u are then prepared for the BCP .. until then .. repair and learn to set it up properly .. google helifreak 450 setup videos |

Aiya ... my DIY wing strut a bit short and it is pulling the wing slightly down, is that OK ar?
![]() So with the strut installed my wings like bending downward ..... Then the below one is the natural wing level without strut but this one totally cannot fly ..... ![]() This post has been edited by daddoo: Oct 27 2010, 11:11 PM |

dont not pull the wing down unless it is designed to do so
the angle of wing is designed specifically to suit the plane remember to strengthen the front wheel .. or else land ONE TIME and its time to go home and repair the wheel .. hehehehe or u can practice FLARED landings .. ie. rear wheel tend to touch ground 1st .. just like REAL 747 landing |

QUOTE(daddoo @ Oct 27 2010, 11:18 PM) How to strengthen the front wheel? that wing support is more for decoration/scale look more than actual support for wings laa .. hahahahaAiyo, like that really cannot maiden next week and need to wait the stock strut to come already ....... u can fly it without those things ... or u can wait for it to arrive lorr Added on October 28, 2010, 7:36 am QUOTE(sLapshock @ Oct 28 2010, 01:05 AM) what did u see ??This post has been edited by QiW: Oct 28 2010, 07:36 AM |

I think it is not for decoration only, I guess the strut is use to support or hold the wing in the mid air, without that I scare my wing will break during the flight as the wing is a bit long. Hehehehehe, maybe another round of DIY but dun know what material to be used ......
The front wheel of this version has been strengthen but according to the video in youtube it is still weak but better than the old design ..... going to give it a try first before I mod this front wheel. I will try to learn touch down with rear wheel first .... Flared landing This post has been edited by daddoo: Oct 28 2010, 09:27 AM |
