If your 3.5ch is using Infra red I think you cannot play it outdoor, hehehehhe the ambient light will interfere your Rx .......
I experienced this once before, the heli can spool up and once i fly it slightly higher than my head, the whole heli stop spinning and drop down immediately, because infra red not working when I point my Tx upward. |

i would strongly advise against the BCP .... that one really really PITA
altho parts are ez to get ... u will end up modifying the thing so much it is no longer a BCP forget about the BCP .. just get a LAMA 4 channel fly that until u totally master it can fly under table and land on small chair by that time ... u are ready for single rotor heli (but not the BCP the LAMA comes with a SIM cable ... u can use that radio and cable to practice on some SIMs ... go google realflight/reflex ... u can use these SIMs .... the SIM will greatly improve your skill level without costing u REAL LIFE CRASHES and $$$$ |

Ohhhh second hand as well ... how much is that?
I don't want to be biased but you should find out more from others. Since I got some good comment and I also got the bad one. But every time when BCP is mentioned in the forum there would be a lot of argument one. Just consider people's opinion properly and make your own decision. You have to always trade off with money and quality. When I was a noob I have even flown an even harder to learn CP heli, 4G6. It is much more unstable than the BCP. But still I can fly F8 as of today. Sorry ah, brothers brothers out there dun be feeling offended...... |

Hehehehe, then the point still going back to budget and the readiness to go into this hobby
Other good quality heli also can catch fire in the mid-air, I have seen branded 600 heli explode in the mid air too .... but it is very rare. The ESC of BCP is famous with catching fire but so far the V2 one is rare also. Not everyone can easily fork out a few hundreds mah ..... But I do agree with you lah, if you have more budget, dun take BCP as your choice. Anyhow, make your own decision ...... we can only provide our experience best to you ..... If you get bcp, u confirm crash, that crash repair money already cost 100 so why not instead of spending that money on crash repair better off saving it for a better heli.
