well .. at least now u can learn to take care of your heli better .. hehehehe

flying high is not the same as flying in the wind laaa
if u look carefully at the videos .. notice the trees and leaves are quite still ... almost no wind .. even the dried leaves on the ground not moving at all
*
bro, im talking about the first video. that is flying high with wind. the first video fly by the malay guy, look carefully, 10 to 12 storey high with wind clearly blown on the trees.

second video is just fly high, but still there must be some MPH of wind that high right?

daddoo: yeah, but this lama outdoor really shock me as it can fly that high with wind, i dont have to stress when fly. to buy. where CCPM is another thing, it can invert hover, fast FF and yeah expensive parts to waste my money on.. flying 3d yada yada (not so interested tongue.gif)

i just re-watched the video again ..
there is VERY LITTLE WIND at the TOP OF THE TREE
even the front door pot plant the leaves indicate NO WIND
and its a BIG COAXIAL ... camera sound oso dont have that FOOB FOOB sound caused by wind while shooting
so i can only concluded very little or no wind that day ... 10 storey oso sometimes can feel no wind one laaa

but if the coaxial is your cup of tea .. go for it !!!

150 bucks? For this 2.4GHz 6CH Transmitter and Receiver only. But I am not sure if you can use it on Lama since I have not played before.
I would think that it is a waste if you use it on Lama since you don't need that much of channels. Might as well buy the whole Lama package (RTF) that come with Tx/Rx and sim cable also, it is less than 300 bucks.

Notice at 01:25, no wind at that high meh? My house in singapore at 6th floor also quite windy already.

Not meant to argue la bro hahaha, or not to say coaxial the best or what...but i thought coaxial cannot fly that high with little wind at all tongue.gif

but it can.

Maybe it depends on your skill, your upgrade also, by just watching the footage I think there are still a lot of unknown ......

The best is to try it out yourself tongue.gif

I wished to get 6ch helicopter for some 3D flying but all of these helicopter are very big. Once crash, I have to pay a lot for repairs. Can mod Lama to 6ch? Haha..

I think the price to mod a Lama to 6CH is way more expensive than getting a 6CH CCPM heli straight away, provided if this is feasible tongue.gif

The crash cost would still be the same after you mod the Lama to 6CH compare to original Lama? Hehehe, don't got people do this in the past or not drool.gif

Play CCPM involve some stress factor in it, you will scare of crash and pay money.

If you want to just play simple sport flight and stress free, than coaxial way to go.

Why do people buy CCPM, more control like? Out of the basic real flight control. Haha.

4#3 should be a fixed pitch heli and 3D includes inverted hovering?
If yes, then I don't it can do 3D .....

I don't think 4#3 can do inverted hovering. What I meant was to look for something small like 4#3 or 4#6.
