Any job got risk bro. Usually the risk does not come from your field but from your boss.

I am from telco engineering. Last year they made me climb a tower w/o safety harness. Back then I was not aware, only know when others contractor scold me.

So, pick a field where you can tahan for 1~2 years. But if you pick engineering, you can always work at unrelated field. Something only engineers can do.
