"Normal people believe that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet."

^ if it was me, I would play safe rather than regret later in life. But then, it's your call. RM2-3k can buy a very good computer or a super fancy iphone 4 already.

QUOTE(gannicholas @ Feb 26 2012, 07:42 PM) Ahaha! Any twinning programs to Aussie? Cause im planning to take SAM and proceed to Australia, isit a good choice? Curtin or Swinburne University provide twinning. You can also look into Monash Malaysia or Taylor's University. Both provide transfer opportunities to Australia but not twinning.

I'm the academic style.... I love all the principles behind engineering but I don't really fancy hand-ons stuff. I prefer to work my way around using pure brain power to solve problems. Does that make me a bad engineer? Perhaps I have to rethink about my engineering career and become a scientist instead... or probably some finance-related career once I figured out what the economics and markets are all about.

hi, not sure whether to post this here in Jobs or Career section but I will try it here. What is the prospect of an engineering consultant career compared to other traditional engineering careers in Malaysia?
