That was EPIC!

Indeed it was epic.
I fail a lot of time before too, experienced a lot of time so learn a lot.
"Smooth seas don't produce skillful sailors."
He was very humble in asking questions too in the forum.
Common academic result yet attitude and manners are there.

Not like yesterday Straight-A's student, where I do not see manners from that young guy.
Last few day another called k***ming, today want to become lyrics composer, doing survey in /k.

Manners take years maybe longer than double digits of years to learn and practice.
If lacks mean lacks already, not much can do. Please don't expect outsiders come and help those people.
Community hates those arrogance and ignorance.     
As a reference, Bystander Effect. We will completely ignore those in public.


If they enter University for Engineering or other courses or maybe out to work.
Teamwork is important, arrogant people normally get banned and boycotted.
A lot of course work depends on team play as well.
These people without manners must get ready anytime to get backstabbed during study or work.

Conclusion, attitude & manner matters in life.

What course are you taking? It may like engineering, these kind of people that no manners, you will meet in the future too.
Just an advice, ignore their presence.

For those critical courses like medic, engineering and etc, attitudes very important.
They can caused much more destruction than others.
e.g car safety, building not safe, and instead of saving life, actually is killing life.

I see, Dentistry. You don't want to consider Engineering?
So, right now you're at A-level/STPM or diploma?

Hahaha, I find that a couple of years of engineering school makes you a lot more humble, when you're getting your butt kicked by subjects, and have to start working with people to survive.

Indeed. Since, we fails and fails again in the Engineering.
You will see a class failing a test. Then everyone in the class re-sit the test again and again.
Failing a test is a routine in engineering. We only want to survive.
I do think other critical courses student also humble as well.
e.g medic, accounting etc

But some still arrogant.. 

Last time when I get my first job as engineer, all my senior colleagues teach most of their life learnt useful tips to me.
6 seniors average >35 years old. Some of the things, they trial and errors life experience for few years then teach me.
I feel very touched. Most of the things irrelevant to the work.
Something like what they learn after working for so long. They teach me so I don't walk the same path as them.
Most of the things, they are not willing to teach outsiders or friends.
If they feel you are good, then they will teach.
So, I learnt a lot during my job as engineer.

Being humble can get you more knowledge where you not able to access it in other places. 

If you mean working experience then is only 1 year. - During 2011-2012.
"When you find yourself in a hole stop digging" - This is 1 of my senior advice.
When the hole is too deep, then you can't get out.
Get out and find your dream. Not necessary everyone passion is work for others.

So, in our community, always people complaining their salary, job low pay, not satisfy etc.
"Expectation always leads to disappointment."
Company really not able to do anything, even you get highest performance, you won't satisfy with the increment.
Why don't they get out and build their dream?
Just forget about the engineering degree you have, forget about those oversea cert (MIT, berkeley), bunch of professional cert.
Just start anew.
If you get out start a chicken rice stall, it have brighter future too.

Now my engineering degree become toilet paper.
btw, engineering is a good course to study.
Still a great experience, can met a lot of great people in engineering.

Use once then throw it away is the definition of toilet papers.

Yup, depends on experience afterwards. Toilet paper is the entrance ticket for fresh grad.
Just like SPM/STPM/A-level is a entrance ticket for Uni.
So, if you have the higher level toilet papers, your low level become useless.

I don't even go collect my STPM cert.
Currently, your UPSR and PMR and SPM got any use? 

I'm no longer in engineering anymore, so wasted my toilet papers too.

Now e-commerce and apps developer.

E-commerce - business of buying and selling things online. (business)
Apps/iOS developer - Apple apps developer, coding and making apps (Computer Science)

It's very hard to find a job that you wanted.
So, I work my own which the field I enjoy, so, in the future can create more job opportunities for others.
I believed everyone can become entrepreneur. I'm not success yet, just starting
