Why do you need to do battery pull again? Clear off the memory??
*
yup to clear cache memory. to check, before do battery pull, goto option --> memory --> note your application memory. then do a battery pull. go back to the option --> memory --> and note that your application memory increase.

basically ppl do battery pull if their BB got lag or slugish. so this will clear up some memory for the device to run smooth.

U can try memory booster....
http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/1666
use the software to boost ur memory when u don't have time to do battery pull...
I boost my phone's memory from time to time and my phone did not notice me about memory full for as long as 3 days or even never notice me cuz personally i will pull my battery after 3 days.....compared to last time every day i have to do battery pull after i opened a lots of applications....

Package Version: 5.0.0.771
Consisting of:

* Applications: 5.0.0.464
